One for one pasta Tried the mentaiko salmon carbonara with ebiko Love this pasta! The mentaiko and carbonara combination always work It feels a little Jelat but disappears so quickly when it’s shared. Tried their coffees as well — like the dirty sesame and iced latte. Spent around $80 for two sandwiches and two pasta (2 one for one deals) and 4 drinks so a great meal!

Bravery Chicken Ragu Bravery Chicken Ragu ($18) features a piece of herbed chicken thigh on top of al dente spaghetti tossed with mushroom and roasted vegetables in creamy ragout sauce. The chicken is tender and moist, while the sauce is creamy but not too heavy. Cream pasta is not usually my first choice of pasta but this was enjoyable. The portion is very generous as well. Yums!

Lavender Latte ($6) Your typical latte but with the fragrance of lavender. Coffee was standard but the lavender made it quite unique - it was an interesting coming together of the aromas. The dried lavender bits can be quite strong so you may want to avoid actually chewing into them if you’re not a fan of strong aromas. I wouldn’t get this again but it was interesting to try. Visited on an afternoon of a Public Holiday and the cafe was not too busy, had some seats available for my friend and I. Staff were friendly.

Fowl Luck This is probably the one dish I order repeatedly here whenever I’m craving for a simple roast chicken. Roasted thigh leg served with herbed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, olives, mushroom and salsa gravy. The mushroom gravy is quite addictive with a hint of truffle. RM26 per serving.

Alio Oglio When was the last time you saw alio oglio this colourful? It’s as good as it looked. Will definitely come back for this.

Sumptuous breakfast Was there yesterday morning, ordered a All-Day Breakfast, it was delicious! Together with a nice aroma cuppucino, per pax cost RM40++, pricey? You decide. But overall great and speedy service.

Big Breakfast Breakfast for dinner! Had the sausage changed to baked beans as I was just tired of sausages. Everything was good on this plate! Generous portions at decent prices. Cakes looked really good too, but we were stuffed. Will probably be back here again soon!

Banana Pancakes w/ Butterscotch Sauce (RM20). Thick fluffy pancakes with a side of fruit salad and sweet thick butterscotch sauce.

Omakaze At Abe's Diner Best value-for-money omakaze in town! At $58++ per head, quality is served on the plate.

Pork With Ginger Set The pork with ginger was an ala-carte dish that doesn't come with any noodles or rice. Paid extra 5 dollars ++ for the rice and miso soup.

Tonkatsu (Fillet) A classic favorite. High quality Japanese food in a hidden corner in Tiong Bahru estate.

Strawberry Mascarpone Cake 💸: $8.70 💬: Been reading quite a few bad reviews about this cake but I actually quite liked this? Found the mascarpone layer to be really light and it gave the cake a nice tanginess

Double Strawberry Danish 💸: $4.70 💬: Would've enjoyed it more heated up, but the staff recommended against it as the jam may be too liquidy and spill but this is one item I won't get again

Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll 💸: $2.90 💬: if u love a good ol cinnamon roll, you gotta get this because the cream cheese spread definitely added an extra oomph with its slight tanginess 🤤🤤
