Absolutely lovely coffee [BRAS BERSAH, SINGAPORE] My only question: why haven't I tried this earlier??? The coffee here was really amazing 😍 We had their Iced Latte ☕ ($7) and Signature Dirty ☕ ($7.50) and both were really good. The Iced Latte was so fragrant, and the dark roast flavours of the coffee came through so strongly. The chocolate and nutty notes were so lovely! This was definitely a very enjoyable cup. The Signature Dirty was also very fragrant and strong, and had such an interesting flavour! It was definitely sweetened by some syrup as well. The Red Tea Chestnut Pound Cake 🍰 ($5.50) was also delicious, with grounded chestnut flavour coming through strongly. The red tea flavour came in after, making this cake even more aromatic! Really does give the autumn vibes. However, I do find it abit too sweet. So coming back here again for their coffee and desserts 😍

Hojicha Latte (Iced - $6.50) I did enjoyed their hojicha latte as not that sweet taste but still got milky and roasted taste for it.

Matcha Latte (Iced - $6.50) I did enjoyed their matcha latte as not that sweet taste but still got bitter taste for it.

Scallion Spaghetti with Shredded Duck Something different with the use of spaghetti. It feels very light yet tasty with shredded duck and fragrant pasta tossed in scallion oil 》$10.90

Exceptional Lunch Set At Great value Tried the Tontoro Don with Onsen Egg and Salmon Mentaiko Lunch Set. Came with Japanese salad, chawanmushi, soup and refreshing cut watermelons for dessert! Definitely recommended!

Mind blowing matcha cheesecake Had the blueberry shortcake, yuzu raspberry & uji matcha cheesecake The blueberry shortcake & yuzu raspberry is normal but the uji matcha cheesecake is the highlight. Matcha taste is strong and the cake itself is crunchy

Yuzu Raspberry @$11.92 The prettiest and most popular cake at Nesuto. Vanilla sponge cake slices with Raspberry bits and 2 layers of yuzu mousse. Topped with white chocolate bits. The Yuzu Raspberry cake was rather too sweet for my liking to be honest.

Praline Noisette Gateau@$12.48++ Kids will love this. Crispy base and not so sweet also. Totally Taste like a Ferrero Rocher cake. Basically a premium Hazelnut chocolate cake.

Unagi Don Patronised the shop late around 8.30pm, all rice bowls were sold out except unagi don. Rice portion is petite.. Unagi is soft and warm. Many different types of hot sauce to try at the sauce corner. There was one green hot sauce which was empty but not replaced.

Unagi Don & Chicken Rice Nice Place to dine in but the truffle beef Don Sold out early . Quite small portion.

Chicken Rice ($13) The local chicken rice inspired dish managed to save the day a little with its soft sou vides chicken breast. Enjoyed the touch of ginger used to season the chicken, making the experience more authentic to its roots. Well the vegetables of cucumber and cherry tomatoes had no taste to them. After a while, the overall taste fell flat so it was finished with copious amount of garlic chilli sauce that was made available over the counter.

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Pink Guava Yakult w Rock Sugar Pearl Pink Guava Yakult ($5.20) w Rock Sugar Pearl ($1.10) ($6.30) My sister and I have covered pink guava drink base related drink for hollin lol. I didn't never tried yakult based drink tbh for hollin. The taste for yakult is not that strong that I expected that but I rarely taste pink guava except rock sugar pearl was slightly strong savoury taste.

Dont get Taro pudding Thought the Taro pudding and drink tasted quite artificial. There wasn't much pudding too.

Overall, pizzas were very thin (like as thin as a wrap), flavours were not balanced 🍳 Ham and Egg: Rather one dimensional flavours, ham tastes more like picnic ham, tomato sauce tasted like canned pasta sauce 🍤 Garlic Prawn: The pizza came with six prawns, which were decently sized and juicy. However, the combination of blue cheese (??), lemon and peppers was confusing and the flavours did not go well together Prices are pretty steep even with the 1-for-1 deal, considering the mediocre quality of the food. Service was good though

Pesto Avocado Pizza Expensive and not worth it. Taste wise so-so. I could get better , bigger pizza for the same price. But got to say the staff was really nice and friendly. Not coming back for the food though.

1-1 Pizza Deal, Garlic Prawn & TWB Supreme Portion was decent, even though it was 2 pizzas for 3 people. Garlic prawns were fresh, ingredients on the pizza all nicely complement each other and the thin crust of pizza was perfect! Staff was friendly too.

👉Mac & Cheese👈 Pretty well-executed with just the right amount of Emmental & Parmigiano-reggiano cheese. I wished the macaroni was more al dente... 。 Sadly, the cafe has closed its doors since last month...

Last Meal Looking at the photo, most people would have mistook this was from a restaurant. But its served by a friendly neighbourhood cafe which has sincr closed down. Great tender piece of pork belly with a side of slice potatoes. You will be greatly missed!

Demise Of A Great Place! Was surprised to hear that Birdy was closing. We had to make the trip for our final meal and despite ordering items that we have never tried, there were no surprises. Every dish were excellent as usual. What a shame to see them go 😥

Lala Bee Hoon Since they source their seafood from their own farm, lala is definitely something you should get as well. The soup was very creamy, comes with generous amount of bee hoon for medium size. There’s also lots of lala but sadly you could find some empty shells within. $19.90+

Hotplate Spinach Tofu It seems like many people ordering this so decided to give it a try also. I totally like how soft it was and blend together with the spinach, with fried egg at the bottom. $14.90+

Nyonya Assam Steamed Seabass I have always wanted to try their fresh seafood and finally found the chance to visit their outlet in Serangoon. They prepare their seabass in a few way including the nyonya assam style, which add some spicy taste to it. The fish was fresh and soft, with lots of meat. $29.90+
