Must order! Priced at $25.00, it’s good for sharing if you order another dish.
The rice is definitely more than enough for 1 pax.
Had it unsweetened and was awed by the depth of matcha. Definitely worth the price.
Set lunch consisted of a Lobster roll, truffle chips, pumpkin soup and side garden salad (which never came and after reminding staff, they sent 2 others to check one after the other (afraid we will cheat them of a salad) and ended up giving a coleslaw because salad was OOS)
Barramundi was slightly fishy but dip in the sauce provided and it’s be okay!
Chips were really glistering with oil.
Kaisen Don with Uni $22.80 (Winter menu from 3 Dec’18 to 6 Jan’19) and Kaisen Salad $16.00
Friendly staff who greeted all customers with “hello welcome”.
Speed of service was good.
Serving portion can be more consistent. Purchased 5 times, thrice for takeaway and twice for dine in and it can differ greatly.
Romaine (Base), Herbed Boneless Thigh (Protein), Sesame Eggplant, Wakame Mushroom salad, Broccoli with Chilli flakes, Sous vide Egg (4 sides) and Plum sesame dressing
Egg was served broken. Warm grain bowl but nothing was warm.
Wings do pack a punch and it’s a match with the sweet potato fries
The set is priced at $17.80, rather reasonable.
Generous amount of mentaiko sauce, for the slab of grilled salmon.
If you can only order one dish, definitely get this!
Salmon sashimi, aburi salmon, cooked salmon flakes and salmon roe. This is definitely the must-try for salmon lovers. The salmon was very fresh (supplies come on Tuesdays and Thursdays) so regardless if it's sashimi or aburi, the fresh sweetness retains.
The salmon roes are commendable because there is very minimal fishy stench when it pops in my mouth. The only only fail was the cooked salmon flakes. They were too dry. Maybe they should mix the flakes with a little mayo?
