MEATliquor Finally had a chance to try this place after yoga class :).. But it was disappointing and does not live up to the hype surrounding it.. For Classic Burgers Super juicy and substantial for the price. 2 "mustard-fried" beef patties in between a fluffy brioche bun, with a side of fries for $15 nett during lunch time. It's like an upgraded version of a big mac, thats juicier and tastier (isn't a bad thing tbh). For those who grew up eating McDonald's burgers, the flavour profile of this burger would definitely appeal to you.

Geisha (half-portion $14.90 nett) 🍕 ⭐️ 4.5/5 ⭐️ 🍴A unique and delicious Japanese-Western fusion pizza comprising Norwegian smoked salmon, burnt (more like charred) broccoli, bonito & mentaiko mayo spread. Fans of #mentaiko like me would love the harmonious pairing of the sauce with the salmon and bonito. Kaya French Toast Waited 45 mins for this; off-peak, barely a few tables occupied. Very 'eggy' bread (the ones we whip up for a last min breakfast) , sour kaya ganache that not only has a weird colour, but taste and texture, desiccated coconut that's reminiscent of phoon huat packaged ones. The saving grace was the ice cream and that splash of Gula Melaka. Not too sweet but the elements just do not blend well. I had to pair everything with the ice cream to get some sense of what the dish was dreaming to be like. $15.90. I'll rather go for the real deal that's one decimal place behind.

Nowhere-Else Flavours If you are looking for some unique Bingsu flavours that you can find nowhere else! Come to Café Insadong. Some of their signatures are Macchiato Baileys, Sweet potato and red bean, Milk Tea and also seasonal items like coconut Bingsu! Their use of ingredients were not stingy at all, which is (maybe) why they are priced above the other more well-known bingsu chains. The Macchiato Baileys costs $18.80. S'mores Bingsu S'mores is one of the smaller food trends around that hasn't quite caught on (fire, haha) like salted egg here, but a few places have incorporated the campfire treat into their dessert creations. Cafe Insadong's offering is one of saccharine decadence - chocolate shaved ice, a child-fist-sized scoop of chocolate ice cream, melted marshmallow skirting and morsels that were still crisp yet molten when served (wonder how they did it without melting the ice), topped off with grounded nuts and a Maltesers peak. I personally enjoyed this bingsu quite a lot as the shaved ice isn't as milky as that of Oma Spoon or Nunsongyee - will be back soon for some more... Summore... S'more...

Nutella Toast ($8.80) The weather is sooo unbearably hot; I wish I could get some sweet toast right now. What I love about this toast is the Korean rice cake squeezed in between the toast. The contrast in temperature enhanced the flavour well and with slices of banana, caramelised popcorn and cold milky chocolate ice cream, the toast was easily conquered within minutes. This is basically all my favourites served together!

More milky than the usual bingsu 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐦𝐢 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮 (𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 - $𝟏𝟑.𝟗𝟎) I think Nunsaram does their shaved ice well, it’s milkier and has more substance than other places, which would explain the satiating feeling as you dug into it. However, it wasn’t compensated with enough toppings, as seen by the naked spots of the sparse soybean powder. They did serve a generous portion of delicious tiny bits of mochi, and there was somewhat of a second layer of power, but I found myself digging spoonfuls of plain ice shavings pretty often. Student-friendly Korean place! The 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐤𝐛𝐨𝐤𝐤𝐢 ($𝟏𝟒.𝟗𝟎) was a perfect sharing platter, with rice cakes, fried dumplings, fried seaweed rolls, fish cake and gimbap! The sauce is sweet, not the most spicy, and it went well slathered onto the ingredients. We ordered an additional 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐩 ($𝟖.𝟗𝟎). I’d say that this was a pretty generous portion for the price! Overall, the food is nothing mind-blowing. However, they often have promos, when we went, it was $2 off the bingsu if you ordered it with the Tteokbokki. The three of us ended up paying $14.20 each for 2 meals and 2 desserts to share, and for a super satiating and fulfilling meal, I would say it’s pretty worth! Choco Banana Bingsu This mountain of shaved ice was coated with Choco powder and encircled in banana slices. It was topped with whipped cream, brownies and rich chocolate ice cream. Every mouth had a burst of chocolate flavour and there were even more chocolate powder within the shaved ice. The condense milk gave another kick to the dessert and my friend and I were certain we were gonna get diabetes after this hahah Sinful but worth every calorie!! Taste: 8/10 Presentation: 8/10 Embience: 8/10

Snow Flake From Tom N Toms Coffee Milk snow flake: fine shaved milk ice + mochi + ice cream + red bean + cream Cappuccino: Espresso + Milk + Milk foam Awesome vibes.

Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels juz a regular cinnamon sugar pretzel, tastes like auntie annes and not outstanding but was still good! portion wAs good for the price (around $6), can share w ur friends!

Mango Snow Flakes $14 | Shaved ice topped with dried cranberries, whipped cream, mango ice cream and cubed mango! A really nice place to chill and chat with your friends after work!

Red Bean Bingsu Huge Bingsu topped with ice cream. Good for 2-3 to share..

Chai Tea With Cotton Candy Basically you could order any milk or coffee drink in hot or cold and top it with cotton candy. Such an interesting concept!

Oreo Bingsu, $13.50 Really oreo overload! Their vanilla icecream tastes pretty milky but good and big scoop as well! Wish there was more oreo crumbs but all's good!

Green Tea Bingsu Good portion and great taste. Not too sweet.. A great dessert for our hot weather!

Awesome Rockmelon The Rockmelon bingsu is worth it $16, with condensed milk, the taste is shiok ah.

Injeolmi Bingsu I really like this place because they give the condensed milk, so the taste is sweeter. Their bingsu is affordable too.

bad cold food. Loose service. Even chase us away, cos other people have booking. The guy manger attitude is over the roof. Even roll his eyes on me.

Baked Miso Cod Horfun A lot of wrong. The horfun was undercooked, it's tiny and the pig skin made no sense. Why add soggy pig skin?

Signature Nasi Lemak An atas plate. Comes with beef cheek rendang, assam sambal prawns, sotong hitam and har cheong gai. It flattered to deceive, given every item's in tiny portion. The rice was average while the chilli's non-existent. Only the chicken and nuts were good, while the pickled cucumber was interesting.
