This restaurant chain from China decided to make it first foray overseas with a big splash; a 300 seater restaurant in Singapore's prime shopping belt. The flavours and cooking styles may be unfamiliar to local tastebuds but the food was delightful nevertheless, with the restaurant filled to full capacity attesting to this. And it doesn't hurt that you are greeted by two old men at the entrance dressed in traditional Chinese costumes. Although, one might be more appreciative if one was welcomed by fair maidens from the imperial courts instead I reckon.
