Charcoal Grilled Japanese A5 Wagyu (Shin-Shin) This is a part of the cow thigh ($40 for 100grams) with a fine, soft texture and rich flavor. It's my new favorite cut because it is so tender, so juicy with just the perfect bite to it. Served with salt, garlic chips, mustard and wasabi which the beef honestly didn't need because it was super flavorful on its own. It was this gorgeous medium rare pink with the perfect charred crust on the outside. Even the portion size was perfect for a single bite. The meat quality was obviously top-grade. An excellent Japanese-style steakhouse which takes its meat seriously. 10/10

Yukke Masa Style This is minced raw beef with sukiyaki sauce, raw egg yolk and spring onion. There are no words adequate to describe how ambrosial this dish ($20) tasted. The beef is so soft, tender and fatty, it just melted in my mouth like butter. The sukiyaki sauce was that perfect mix of sweet and salty, bringing forth the umami flavors of the beef. And the egg yolk was the magic that brought it all together; by mixing it with the sukiyaki sauce, it formed a thick, sweet, rich gravy that coated every single piece of beef, ensuring that every mouthful exploded with flavor. The portion of sauce to beef was perfect, and the spring onions added just that slight tinge of freshness and crunch. What a perfect marriage of flavors, and what a way to make minced beef (not the most glamorous of cuts) really shine.

Wagyu Beef Tataki This was my first taste of raw beef ($20) and it was so good. Slices of raw wagyu beef resting on top of a bed of creamy marinated onions with a balsamic vinegar sauce. Take a slice of raw beef, roll it up some onions and dredge it through the balsamic vinegar. The sharpness of the onion and the soft fatty tender beef goes so well together. And there's that tartness that is injected by the balsamic vinegar. Simple, classic ingredients, but so delicious. And aesthetically its just plated in such a refined, delicate manner too, showcasing that beautiful marbling of beef.

Roasted Pistachio Ice Cream with Waffles ($11.80++) This was worth every penny - the pistachio flavour was rich and not too creamy, complemented the freshly made waffles (slightly crispy and sweet) and the lotus caramel cookies added a nice touch to the multitude of flavours in this dessert! Would order again!

Waffles and Softserve Weekend is for the sweet tooth! A pleasant dessert experience here at Sunday Folks! Not just presentation is beautiful, the hot waffles with softserve create magical moment. Each waffle order already come with pre selected toppings but you can customise your waffles with a selection of toppings available and is topped with a fat tall swirl of soft serve. The waffles will only be bake after order is taken to ensure freshness. Their waffles are one of the best which I tried so far. Crispy good crisp along the edges and fluffy soft on the inside also it's not to dry. The soft serve flavour to choose; Dark Chocolate, Summer Strawberries, Roasted Pistachio, Earl Grey Lavender, Madagascar Vanilla and Seasalt Gula Melaka.聽I love the smoothness and creaminess of the softserve and my 2 favorite had got to be the Seasalt Gula Melaka which has a brilliant combination of sweet & salty and Earl Grey Lavender聽that is aromatic and not too sweet and complemented the warm crispy waffles. Definitely be coming back again.

Proscuitto Parma Ham Pizza Thin crust, crispy edges &generous amount of parma ham as well as wild rockets! Usually pizzas elsewhere tend to have a thick spread of the tomato paste on the crust. But this one has only a thin layer of it, hence the pizza doesn't taste too heavy in flavour! There's parma ham in every bite and the rockets give your palate a good cleanse. This combi nv fails! We wished that the parma ham wasn't baked together with the pizza thou, we prefer them more undercooked to retain the natural aroma of the meat. One of the lightest pizza i had, totally not jelat! I particularly love the crispy, airy edges. They've this scent of the dough.. sooo gooood~ &Not to forget, their chilli flakes are really spicy and fragrant! Go easy on that.

Homemade TRUFFLE EGG PASTA! The truffle cream smells mega rich yet the taste isn't overpowering like many other truffle-flavoured food out there! The scent is so alluring and only leaves us wanting more! The texture is similar to that of cream mushroom soup, coating the pasta well. Scallops are cooked to perfection, not overcooked with those dry flaky texture! We could also taste that the prawns are those sea prawns, not those frozen farmed ones! Fresh &succulent. The egg pasta are cooked al dente but i wish they can be slightly more chewy (aka QQ)! This was my boyfriend's favourite dish! We even dipped the crust of the pizza into the leftover truffle sauce. FINGER LICKING GOOD!

Risotto al Granchio ($18++), is a crab meat risotto with zucchini and cherry tomatoes in their homemade marinara sauce. This dish definitely had a homey and unpretentious feel to it. Simple, yet delicious. The staff (or is the lady the owner?) also seemed to be chatty and friendly with patrons. Thanks @justinfoodprints for the restaurant recommendation!
