Peony Jade at Keppel Club is outdoing itself with its new ala carte buffet. Bring your bellies as you get to try 60 dishes for the very reasonable price tag of $35++ Many thanks to Minru and Ika for the invite!

Very chunky and robust, and while I personally don’t like to get my hands messy, I went all in here to pull out that succulent lobster meat! 😋😋

They call them prawn balls, but this crispy morsel of prawn and meat paste tasted cleaner than I expected. It wasn’t salty, and went so well with the sweet sauce that came along with it.

That sums up Long Qing’s Braised Pork Rice Bowl ($12). It’s definitely saucy, and that adds to the sumptuous comfort of warm rice and tender pork. I wolfed this down rather quickly, so you know this was gooooooooodddddd 😍

The meat holds moisture in spades, and the cheese imparts its expected extra flavour. There are no surprises here, only satisfaction.
Between this and the yuzu version, I lean a little more into this for the flavour that the cheese lends.
However... I will go back just to try the Tsukune without any sauces or toppings, just Okinawa salt, to see how the beef holds up by itself.

These are simply epic skewers of Wagyu Karubi (Ask for Tokusen Wagyu, $5++ per stick) grilled to juicy perfection. The fat oozes out as you bite in, and it’s just tender enough to for you to just bite all the way through. I washed it down with saké, but you’re more than welcome to down it with an iced cold beer!

The spinach and eggwhite was lovely, and so was the slightly spiced up cauliflower. Chicken wasn’t too bad, and the quinoa at the bottom kept me full for such a Long time! Well done, Salad Shop!

The chicken was so well-cooked that its bones were soft enough to eat. The warm Soup was comfort after a Long day as well. It felt good to just sit and sip on this soup, while we munched on the multiple Free side dishes that just kept landing on our table.
What’s amazing is that even with additional orders of Jjajang Mian, our bill was sub $70, meaning we had a grand total of 6 huge dishes at a STEAL. Great value for money, and I’ll be back again.
