A rare kind of seashell not usually found in Manila. So everytime I'm in Boracay, I make sure to go to D*Talipapa & feast on diwal or angel wing clams! Here cooked in butter & garlic 👍
Today's #yummy lunch from #MaMaison feat. their Prawn & Chicken Katsu Set + Creamy Crab Croquette. I was craving for tonkatsu & since there's no Yabu nor Saboten at Greenbelt, I opted for Ma Maison instead. This was my 2nd time to eat here, the first of which was last year! With all the tonkatsu hype going around, I just had to eat here again to have another comparison. The set came with a bowl of non-traditional miso soup, & I say non-traditional because instead of tofu & Japanese seaweed, it had carrots, radish? And onions. I still prefer the traditional miso soup. The set also came w/ a side salad w/ Japanese dressing (no, not sesame). But because the set already came w/ grated cabbage, I wasn't able to eat that anymore. On to the main event, their Chicken Katsu has got to be the most tender compared to Yabu & Saboten. The Creamy Crab Croquette, on the other hand, bathed in lemon juice & dunked in tartar sauce was divine! The prawn was forgettable. Other items that came w/ the set were rice & sliced pineapples. Overall, it was a very satisfying lunch 👍 #yourhinez
