Food (croissant, baked potato, salmon omelette) and the cappuccino were average at best. Even less impressive service.

This is a popular one: Generous bowl of tasty, shoestring fries. I just couldn't help but compare this to Symmetry's though. There is relatively less truffle going on, and the mayo sauce disappointed slightly. Still, 4.5/5

We couldn't resist trying out this slice of rainbow goodness. An interesting multi-layered consistency accompanied with chocolate in between the layers. I wouldn't be back for this, but it was worth trying once. $8.90, 4/5

In the spirit of Diwali, we had a cosy lunch near Haji lane. Tantalizing assortment of naan served with butter chicken curry. 4.5/5

Tender lamb slices on a skewer, yum. They were dipped with a lovely cumin salt + lime combination, which made this dish uniquely Mediterranean. Pricey at $30, but worth a try. 4/5

Dinner began with pomegranate molasses and perfectly toasted bread. The molasses had a sourly, overpowering taste that I wasn't quite accustomed to. Definitely an acquired taste.

Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this sandwich. The wheat bread was toasted to a soft, warm consistency and the crispness of its edges were just right. Generous amount of ham as well. Would have given a 4.5/5 if not for the slightly less fresh salad.

Loved this drink! Awesome presentation with its lilac colour and coffee art.

Red velvet cake was smooth and fluffy. Nice combination with cream cheese in its layers, and the scoop of ice cream. The waffle was well-received by my friends, though I would have preferred it to be fluffier, rather than crispy. Overall a great experience at Coastal Settlement.
