UNA tried out a few dishes here! roasted pork, their grilled fish and tapas were really good! churros and cake for dessert tasted really nice as well! abit more pricey but definitely worth a try 😍

Pluma Iberico The dish overall was quite enjoyable. The pork was not dry and well-seasoned and the potato foam complemented it quite well. The jalapenos however were so fucking bitter I wonder who would unironically enjoy this

SF Paella ($62++) I was looking forward to trying this and I'm glad to report that the seafood ingredients were top notch. They were extremely fresh, well cleaned and cooked skillfully. I could taste the ocean with every bite. Personally, I was unable to fully appreciate the paella as the rice was cooked with red bell peppers. Seafood: Ocean/10 Rice: Bell pepper/10

Salted Egg Chicken (M) ($12) Perfectly-fried chicken cubes in a pool of creamy salted egg sauce, there is nothing not to love here! Perhaps if there was something I would improve on, would be to give heftier chicken chunks because there were some points were I was just (happily) eating fried batter coated in salted egg sauce. Though it speaks to how delicious the sauce is, it would be nice to have more meat. 😀

Sambal Kangkong ($6) Again, a really generous portion of vegetables from Wah Chee. The sambal had a good kick to it, without being too spicy that I would need an extra drink to go with it. I'm not sure why Wah Chee is listed as "closed" because they most certainly aren't....

Prawn Omelette (S) ($8) I really like Wah Chee's prawn omelette as it is consistently fluffy with a reasonably generous filling of prawns. I like that the small size was big enough to satisfactorily feed our group of 4 as well, though I wouldn't mind paying more for a bigger portion on days I'm feeling a bit greedier. 🤤

North Border Lamp chops and shrimp fajitas - yum! Not sure what cuisine they're doing exactly - Mexican? Tex Mex? General western? - but it was tasty!

Surf And Turf Look at these delicious Jumpo prawn and tenderloin beef. Juicy from inside and tender from outside. Not only the food I adore. I also love their ambience. What a nice please for a weekend chill out. Nobody can stop me from eating !!! Lol

Jimmy Monkey Cafe🧀 Went to Jimmy Monkey Cafe last week and ordered a Grilled Cheesy Crusty ($16), Baked Maple Chipotle Chicken Wings ($18), Bacon Mac n' Cheese Quesadilla ($22), Prawn Aglio Olio ($25), and an Eggplant Moussaka ($23)!😇 Filling for 5 pax~ Overall ratings 7.5/10!😄 Cheesy Crusty and Wings were good, Eggplant Moussaka was delicious, but Alio Olio was quite spicy and not really feeling the Quesadilla😅 Would head back again for the Eggplant Moussaka tho💯

brunch/one-north Jimmy Monkey serves great food and coffee, though being an Australian-inclined café the choice are limited to bread-based western. Here is the all day sourdough and egg with additions of bacon and wilted spinach. Great crispy bread, decently-runny egg (adjust the seasoning by yourself as the egg by itself is not heavily seasoned), crispy bacon. They offer 4 different spreads and I chose vegemite. Wholesome brunch indeed!

Spicy Yangnyum Up This chicken was so good!! Typical Korean spice levels had me go through the chicken more slowly than intended, not for those who can't handle spice. There's also the non spicy alternative which I bet would taste really great!

Kimchi Fries Visited the JE outlet due to a 1 for 1 promotion reward - worth the price only if you eat a lot 😋 kimchi fries left a really weird aftertaste and the combination of kimchi with the cheese and whatever else was in there did not do it for me 😷

Fried Chicken The new KFC of our times, Korean Fried Chicken. Since popularized by the Korean drama, My Love from the star, Korean fried chicken shops have popped up all over Singapore. Korean Fried Chickens are supposedly double fried and Chicken Up's are no different. I am not sure if that makes them more unhealthy but they certainly taste better! So crispy yet not oily and with meat so juicy. Probably the best fried chicken...... I've tasted. The best selling flavors here are the Sweet and Tangy Yangnyum and Garlic Soya Gangjang but I prefer their original flavor, shown here.

GODIVA Twist Chocolate Soft Serve. Because it's 1-for-1 till today! Had the best of both worlds with 😈 @hazynuts , a mixture of the dark and vanilla white chocolate soft serves, topped with strawberry chocolate Hello Kitty ribbon decoration that reminded me of strawberry Pocky sticks. Yes, the ice cream was smooth and milky, and surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be for the white chocolate. But the dark chocolate simply tasted like milk chocolate, not a tinge of bitterness. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how impressive it is to cost $9 for one on usual days. Strawberry Chocolate Twist Need a pick-me-up in the form of some sweet swirls! Granted, the taste of dark chocolate slightly overpowers the strawberry soft-serve, it is a combination that can’t go wrong. Priced at $9 each, Godiva 90th Anniversary Special’s Strawberry Chocolate Twist adds a light fruity scent to the decadently rich and luscious chocolate.

Dark Chocolate Soft Serve [$8] My shining crown of the list of best dark chocolate soft serves/ice-creams. I can never get over how rich yet smooth the soft-serve is, yet it isn't overly sweet. The extra chocolate crunch on the rim of the cone is like the cherry on top of a banana split. Pricey but totally worth the once in a while indulgence.

Carbs, seafood and a happy soul. 😴 Craving much for some comforting carbs after watching a food vlog which led us straight to TCB. Ondeh Ondeh Churros 3 for $5. Churros Factory serves one of the best churros in Singapore, what I like about it is that it can be shared with others easily and doesn't make it feel as though it is so sinful. Each churros is not too long in length and just nice. Very pricey but it certainly lives up to the reputation. Unique flavour and crispy. Palatable to the locals!

Sea Salt Caramel Churros 3 for $5. This sea salt caramel churros is on for a limited period of time only. Definitely one of the best churros that I have tasted in terms of crispiness and also there weren't as much sugar put on the churros. The caramel sauce over it was not over the top and it didn't feel too sweet. Certainly a good place to go to for your churros fix because it has churros that is good for group sharing and not a very filling dessert. However, it is on the pricier side.

Churros Factory A cosy ambience and efficient service. Churros were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The drink banananutella was tasty! Definitely recommend this to others.

Ice Cream Waffle Waffle with raspberry ice cream, marshmallows and sprinklers toppings served with maple syrup! At Gelare ! The waffle is very nice and crispy!

Tueseday Promotion 50% Waffle serve here is the usual kind of soft waffle you can get at neighbourhood bakery shop. Picked the peanut butter and honey oat flavour. For the promotion price, you can topped up a fee more bucks to get better quality with nicer and tastier flavours ice cream out there.

Perfect For Sweet Tooths! I got the Banana Craze waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. Total was around $10+. They sell their waffles half priced on Tuesday so I'd really suggest you go then! The waffle was crisp and balanced out the sweetness. Bananas and caramel sauce were super good, along with the ice cream.

Matcha bingsu large 15.9nett Red bean in sauce was delicious but theres a little bit of edge, it works alongside the matcha since that's more mild and lacks any bitterness. Overall quite pleasant, surprisingly. The large mochi pieces were decent too Good stuff

Injeolmi bingsu large 14.9nett The ice is not the finest nor the most flavourful ive had but they are definitely up there. The mochi and soy bean powder worked very well tgt, and the almonds added much needed texture Very good version
