The coffee was well made by the barista Edmund. It was a darker roast which was of course less acidic but lacked the flavours that I normally like from a light to medium. Yet a nicely crafted coffee.

Star rating : ⭐⭐⭐ I should stop reviewing burgers hahaha. Well here is another one. Pulled pork burger in a toasted black bun. The pork was juicy with the house coleslaw and some funky twirly fries
Artfoodasia Star rating : ⭐⭐ Tried Omakase burger after ages (2 years to be precise). Disappointed cause the meat was not seasoned, cheese fries where cold and the burger was actually not tasty. I would say similar to a big Mac but with better quality meat and no gerkins. I asked for the burger medium and it was cooked to perfection.
Star rating : ⭐⭐⭐ Tried out the new Impossible Burger @houseofanli . Decent burger in an activated charcoal bun, a bit too sweet for my liking with the coleslaw inside. Was served cold and soggy oven baked fries with it, which was not good though. The burger Patty tasted just like meat. I guess its good for new vegetarians who still have a craving for meat.

A beautiful little restaurant tucked behind the busy streets of orchard in the newly refurbished 111 somerset mall. This Jones does not offer the full blown menu like it's counter part in dempsey, however has a selection on delicious breakfast, proper burgers (no cutting corners here) and a list of mains. I tried
The Swiss mushroom burger with a wagyu patty, field mushrooms, swiss cheese, butterhead in a homemade brioche bun. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The size of the burger is huge and so juicy. Loved this. The last time I tried a burger so good was at Opal at Gordon Ramsey (Doha) in a private dinner by the executive chef.
Roast Chicken in lemon beurre noisette, served with warm red and white quinoa salad. This dish is something you would get in a fine dining restaurant. It's cooked to perfection, so tender and a taste sensation. My friend said that is was like a dish at summerhill. I need to try that to.
Rockafella dark ale that’s been aged in bourbon barrels. This beer is ridiculously good. A have to try. I believe it is a limited edition to rush over. Made by the Aussie small batch maestros @stockadebrewco
Star rating : ⭐⭐⭐ dinner @tanglinmallsg @komalas . This a a little veggie Indian place in the food court at Tanglin Mall. They serve up some really delicious South Indian food. I ordered 'set b'. (that's how you choose the combinations here and in most food courts). Set B included 2 delicious Puris, a veggie biriyani, two curries, a poppodam and a sweet. Fresh, tasty and filling for just $9. This is one of my fav places. Try the super crispy dosa or giant Puri.
Star rating : ⭐⭐ visited @ajisenramensg @junction8 @capitaland With over 700 outlets around the world this Japanese import has quite a selection of Ramens and some rice dishes. Service was quite quick and fast. Preety empty for a weekend dinner. I ordered a fried Seafood Toji set which came with some dumplings and miso soup. All orders are place on iPads that are on the side (the solution for most chain F&B in Singapore due the manpower shortage in the Industry. Sad cause a big chunk of the experience is gone). Food came out quite quick 🤔

Dumplings (fried) not bad. Tasted like the frozen ones I buy, so I'm assuming these are not made at the site.
Toji was hmmm, not great. Besides the egg the rest of the ingredients where all over cooked, very chewy and obviously frozen or double cooked. It was ment to be a seafood Toji but it had chicken as well. I was not able to finish it all as it's was quite sickly.
Star rating : ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ visited the hidden gem in Jalan Besar, Singapore. A rustic minimalist restaurant with a full bar that serves up some very delicious slow cooked American style smoked meats. I had a mixed platter of USDA Brisket, Australian Beefshort rib, Iberico Duroc pork ribs, smoked chicken, sausages and sides of Mashed Potatoes with Stout Gravy & Bone Marrow Butter & coleslaw. The quality and taste was amazing. A must try of your a meat fan.
An interesting range of premium Shochu that's kept in Sherry and whiskey barrels for 10 to 24 years. The results are beautiful. Taste of Sherry, whiskey and dark rum.
