Entrecôte Steak With Roquefort Soufflé Steak was a little too salty for my liking (it tasted as if it was mainly seasoned with salt flakes on the exterior) and the herb butter on top sadly did little to augment the flavour. As for the soufflé, I appreciated its texture but the roquefort cheese sort of an acquired taste so nah, not really for me either. But overall, still a good meal, especially since soufflés are quite hard to find in Singapore!

Boeuf Bourguignon Who knew a hearty beef stew and a fluffy comté soufflé could complement each other so well? The beef stew, with its generous servings of tender, juicy beef cubes with bacon, carrots and mushrooms drenched in a thick gravy, is bound to warm your tummy and soul. The comté soufflé provided a nice contrast in both texture and flavour as it was fluffy (almost as if eating a cloud!) and mildly sweet. Apart from the good food, the restaurant had a nice and quiet ambience, as though transporting me back to France with French music playing in the background. Once again, a fantastic deal thanks to burpple!!

Not bad, reminiscent of a good laksa bowl! Dry Laksa ($18 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - though the noodles were abit too soft, the sauce is thick and very flavourful, just like a good bowl of laksa. They gave 4 pretty huge prawns which were all plump and fresh! Not bad can try.

Pretty delicious Mentai Don! Salmon Mentai Don ($18 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - mentaiko really can't go wrong and for this bowl they were pretty generous with the amount of sauce! As for the salmon pieces, it seems like it's lesser than that of Chirashi. I still love the rice in here! The onsen egg just pairs well with everything in here 😍

Chunky fresh pieces of sashimi, not bad Lecoq Chirashi ($16 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - pretty generous with the sashimi ingredients, the sashimi pieces were fresh and chunky! I must say they gave alot of rice, but I ain't complaining because their rice were well seasoned and pretty darn addictive. Love the onsen egg as well, as it acts as a good medium to combine everything together!

Iced Rooibos Latte $6.60 | Requested for no sugar added in at all and it was delightful! The tea that they used was really fragrant and it was SO smooth. Will definitely be back for more!

Cafe Latte Beyond 1-1 deals are on standard drinks only. Somehow I really love their coffee, their beans taste robust, nutty and deep. (Unlike what I get from SB, CBTL and even those cafe) Downside is that I’ll buy and go as it’s located in Maybank. Staff isn’t very friendly either but it’s fine. #justsaying

Iced mocha $7 Pricy on its own but totally worth it after Burpple Beyond offer I got 1 mocha and 1 latte. The coffee here is strong and good quantity. Staff could be friendlier. 4 on 5

Chocolate Croissant A takeaway kiosk at the basement of 313@Somerset, selling their signature croissants in different flavours. I enjoyed their chocolate flavour, it remain fluffy with chocolate fillings inside and outside as well.

Chocolate croissant Saw quite a few reviews saying that the croissants aren’t that good but I think it’s not bad! Toasted it so it was warm and pretty nice. Love how they have chocolate filling in it too

Hojicha Latte (L Size - $6.90) I felt that it's best hojicha latte that I have tried. It's smooth texture, strong roasted tea and milky taste. I wanted to try their matcha version soon next time.

Watermelon Jasmine, Grape Oolong Cold Brew Fruit Teas ($4.80) Hi, Hi Tea! Second time here to try their cold brew fruit teas. I really like that they blend the fruits with the tea, you can taste the authentic fruit and not some sugary syrup. We picked less sugar and it was just nice in terms of sweetness. The cup was really big so I think it’s very worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal. No queue when we visited on a weekday evening as well, even though it was a public holiday.

Hello Tea :) Got the Beyond 1-for-1 Milk Tea deal, their milk teas are not too bad. I enjoyed the Milk Oolong Tea ($4.50), and the Brown Sugar Jelly topping was chewy and yummy! Made the drink a lot sweeter even though I ordered 0% Sugar haha. As for the pearls, they were a little bit tough on the inside. I liked that the cup came with a cap that was closable, it’s perfect for takeaways - I could drink a little bit first (because I have no self-control), then cap it back and keep the rest for later. :) Overall worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal.

Morning Brew ($22) Morning Brew is an interesting mix of black tea-steeped rum, cardamom-infused Kahlua, and bitters. This drink might sound bitter, but it is surprisingly subtly sweet. Notes of spicy flavor with hints of oak and toffee.

Poolside slipper ($22) Hello, sweet summertime. Summer is best enjoyed at the pool, explaining the potentially confusing name. This is basically a vodka (instead of rum) mojito with watermelon, mint, and lime juice. Nice and sparkly with the soda water, this drink reminds me of Girl Scout Thin Mints cookies. A sassy and refreshing drink.

Highschool sweetheart ($22) Tinge of sour from the sour plum, sweet and a little fresh from the citrus and guava, and a kick from the vodka. A tropical, bright and refreshing drink that’s easy to drink. Layer of frothy foam makes it smooth too.

Piña colada, Lime Margarita On a Monday night the place was an excellent spot for a catch up over some straightforward cocktails. “They are generous with their cocktails”, my Best Friend quips. A sip in and I concur as the hard liquor kicks in. To top off my Piña colada was the wedge of pineapple that was sweet and edible 🤪

Pizzas (from $20.90++ to $27.90++ U.P.; On Burpplebeyond) My 2nd visit to introduce the delicious pizzas here to my extended family. An amazing “good for groups” option, I beamed pridefully when across the table everyone nodded in approval of how these pizzas were a mark above many other commercial pizza places.
