Really appetising dish with a strong truffle taste. Not my first visit to Napoleon Food & Wine Bar and similar to my previous visit, it did not disappoint. Thanks to @hungrybaker for the treat!
I was afraid the cake was going to be dry but it was fluffy and layered with gula melaka. Went really well with my usual caramel frappucino.
Executive Chef Andy Oh and his team present original creations from his hometown, Penang. The buffet is available from 1 April to 31 May 2016. Lunch $42 (Monday to Friday) and $48 (Weekend). Dinner $68 (Monday to Sunday).
Ice-blended mango purรฉe topped with raspberry and lime slushes respectively. Then a swirl of freshly whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles for a perfect finish!
I'm really loving the Thai Milk Tea flavoured one (brown macaron in the middle). First time having such a flavour in a macaron and it replicated the creamy, sweet and yet slightly bitter taste to perfection
It was a huge bowl with generous servings of chicken and rice. I really liked the Green Papaya Salad ($6.90) with tofu and beef jerky. That got more and more delicious with each bite.
Was quite sick of fast food so I tried out @deliveroo_sg delivery service and the food arrived in about half an hour. Impressed! They only charge $3 per delivery.
It's no wonder this restaurant is packed every time I visit. The best thing is the standard here is always maintained.
Here's Watermelon Lychee ($14) from their new Rainbow Bowls ๐ series. A healthier and more refreshing alternative to the milkshake. Watermelon, lychee, granola, strawberries ๐, chia seeds, drizzled with low fat yoghurt. I wanted to try the Mango Pomelo ($14) one but they ran out of mangoes.
Thick creamy coconut and Thai milk tea ice cream with red ruby, corn and atap seed in a coconut husk, sitting atop a cup of coconut water ($5.20). The weather is just simply too hot ๐ฅ!
