The churros mochi waffle is crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and lightly dusted with cinnamon-sugar perfection. Its unique mochi texture gave it a playful, satisfying bite that had me hooked from the first bite. The soya bean milk with dough fritters gelato had a nostalgic, comforting taste reminiscent of local breakfast favorites, but with a creamy and indulgent twist. back to try the cinnamon churro mochi waffle a lot of mochi was given but it’s bland on its own. the ice cream was really good though🍨🍨 we had White Crysanthmum and Soya Youtiao, both were really strong in flavour!

Matsu Duo Matcha Latte ($11.60) signature matcha latte topped with creamy matcha cold foam according to them. I felt that it's quite bitter and also purist matcha taste tbh giving matcha cold foam and latte nxt level.

Banana Pudding Matcha Latte ($9.80) it's quite expensive drink on north east line tbh :") tbh I don't wanted to get this "trend" for banana pudding. I really want to try their popular drink so it just happened. But I felt that banana pudding got strong taste in matcha before premixed as their matcha taste quite milky and sweet tbh. overall that I want to try for once to experience how "trend" go up and down like roller coaster. But it's interesting fusion for banana pudding w matcha tbh.

Fatcaron Had the Earl Grey Milk Tea Fatcaron and Pistacho Dirty Latte. The Earl Grey Milk Tea Fatcaron was good as it is not sweet like usual macron that is available in the market. The Earl Grey is strong in taste for people that like strong flavour. Pistacho drink wise, is too nutty for me and viscous. I would expect it to have a more smooth texture for a drink.

Not a real 1-for-1 deal Been here several times. Food here is 10/10. However, did not appreciate that they have a separate price menu for burpple user without informing us. This menu is priced higher than their normal menu. Ultimately only saved ~$5 as compared to 2 mains from their original menu.

Good bowl of Chirashi Easy fix for a bowl of chirashi. What's funny is that they have a separate pricing menu for those using the Burrple 1 for 1, the prices for it was being jacked up. Strange thou.

food japanese vibes, in a cosy corner of centrepoint which was not overly crowded. free miso soup for everyone. staff were friendly and helpful. they took photos for us, kept a birthday cake and lit the candle up for us. stayed for 2 hours. staff were attentive and refilled the drinks for us.

Decent Cheese Katsu! Back at @onkei.tonkatsu to try their other tonkatsu variations and was satisfied with their Cheese Rosu-Katsu Set ($19.90)! The pork fillet was quite well fried till golden brown and it was stuffed full of cheese! The meat itself may be a little dry, but it is definitely meaty. The chicken is best paired with the tonkatsu sauce, which was pretty tangy to cut the rich fat flavour from the cheese and meat fillet. They offer free refills of rice, soup and cabbage, and I liked the soup the best due to its rich meaty and umami flavours. This may not be one of the best tonkatsu I've eaten, but it's definitely decent, filling and affordable. A great lunch option for the offices nearby!

Chicken Katsu and Tempura Chicken Katsu is soft and Tempura is crispy. Not too oily. Cabbage is crunchy.

Karage and Oyster Karage is very soft. Oyster is fresh

Kakiage Don Had the new Kakiage Don which is like a single piece of fritters with all the vegetable, prawn and squid condensed together. Price is reasonable and worth it.

Tenya Tendon I decided to order Signature Tenya Tendon ($9.50) (Less Rice - $0.50) but I felt that it was quite disappointed. As they got a lot of batter inside each fried items, it was not that oily for me but crunchy and crispy batter. Tenya Tendon come with Tempura Prawn, Red Fish, Squid, Pumpkin and French Beans. I didn't remembered whether I got eat squid or not but pumpkin got sweet taste, tempura prawn got a bit bland taste, red fish got soft and sweet taste and french bean was slightly hard to chew.

Chawanmushi [$2.50] This was better than we expected! Stock used here was the more strongly seasoned sort and it came with crab stick, mushroom and a prawn. Pretty smooth.
