The executive set lunch is value for money and includes house salad, chawanmushi, miso soup and garlic rice. Furthermore the set lunch is available on weekend too. We ordered beef and seafood for sharing. The beef is executed well even though it's not wagyu beef. WB comment that I have atas tongue as I seldom praise non wagyu beef. Seafood portion is also generous as the prawn and scallop are huge! Loved their coffee here! If you are looking for good coffee in Novena, @love.joy.coffee got you your cuppa! Located near the food court in Velocity, we had great cups of coffee there that left our hearts full and belly satisfied. Their Petit White ($4.50) was a small cup of single shot hot latte that was just so smooth and rich. The aromatic scent of the coffee was very inviting, and it had the right hazelnut and chocolate notes. Their Iced Latte ($6) was also a great refreshing cup, with just the right amount of strength and milk within. This is one cup I can sip away slowly definitely! Can't wait to be back for another cup 😍

Iced latte I remember the location as fresh fruits lab and loved their stuff. Was surprised to see another cafe but realised it’s by the same people that owned the previous place. The coffee was fragrant and balanced. I will need to go back for food the next time. But I really liked the aesthetic it has a very French Bistro vibe Also the paper straw that they gave me didn’t disintegrate after a few sips.

Splendid cakes and drinks! [SOMESET, SINGAPORE] Finally paid a visit to @risebakehouse.sg, and their coffee and cakes are as good as the ones I've had in their Potong Pasir outlet some time ago! Kudos to them for making their cafe so pretty and aesthetic as well 🥹 The White Peach Earl Grey Cake ($8.80) looked and tasted good. The cake was moist, with a hint of earl grey flavour which isn't too strong. The white peach flavour did not taste too artificial, and definitely complemented well with the earl grey flavour. Interesting that there's a peach jelly in the middle of the cake too! The Hallabong Bear ($9) may be expensive, but it was refreshing! With a strong citrus and aromatic orange flavour, the cold brew coffee took a backseat in this one. It was not too sweet and not too rich as well! The Iced Matcha Latte ($7.50) was surprisingly good, with a strong earthy flavour which sustained its strength all the way till the last sip. It wasn't grainy too! I feel like it's as good as the shop nearby (iykyk 🤭) Definitely coming back for more soon! ✨

Rice oolong milk tea ($4.70, M) Burpple 1-1 must be same drink. Can’t rly taste the rice oolong, sweetness come from the 30% sugar instead of the tea. Prolly try other drinks next time.

Honey Rice Oolong Tea w Fresh Lemon ($5.60) I felt that fresh lemon covered up with rice oolong tea too much. But it got hints for rice oolong tea aftertaste.

Rice Oolong Milk Tea ($4.90) My sister told me to order L size instead of M size ($4.50) and then difference like 40 cents lol. I opt out for 30% stevia sugar and also less ice. The taste for oolong tea was quite good standard as not that thick milky texture tbh but not suitable for lactose intolerant ppl.

Chrysanthemum Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea Light floral notes from the chrysanthemum and osmanthus, paired with creamy milk that’s not too sweet. What I really liked is how the flowers are kept separate from the milk, so you get the aroma without accidentally sipping petals. No weird texture, just clean and mellow flavour. One thing to note is let it steep a bit before diving in. Since the tea’s layered, the flowers sit on top and only infuse while the milk level’s high. Once you drink past a certain point, the steeping stops and it turns into plain milk tea. So give it a few minutes to mingle before sipping 》$5.95
