Smoked Pepper Flapjacks
All my favourite stuff in one dish: pancakes, Turkey bacon with mushrooms. Looks nice, tastes better.

Ala Mak
Nasi Lemak- The Pancake Version
Coconut pancakes, otah with poached eggs. Good for coconut lovers.

The MJ
Chocolate chip pancakes, ice cream with caramelised bananas. Would have preferred fried bananas to semi mashed ones.

Chicken Tikka Naanwich - The Chicken Tikka was grilled to perfection. Paired with a runny egg and sauce it gives the traditional naan a nice twist. Can get messy if you hold everything up ;) But, it tastes better that way.

I am so pleased that my husband found this gem! Authentic Japanese food waiting for Halal Licence. Having gone to Japan, I can't eat Japanese food in Singapore without complaining. But the food served here was just so delicate, I enjoyed it tremendously! We had salmon and kajiki sashimi with grated wasabi. The fish was fresh and not served with ice (thankfully). Then we had the set meal. I had cod fish with assorted tempura. The cod fish was so fresh, they didn't have to cook it with any sauce. The tempura came with grated daikon and warm sauce. The tempura batter was light and crispy. The potato salad was yummy. It was so good that I wanted to finish it even though I was so full. The set also came with chawanmushi and yoghurt. The yoghurt looked plain but looks can be deceiving. It was light but flavourful. The service was impeccable. Overall this meal was a 10/10.

After having a steak, pizza and drumlets,we ordered their speciality Chempedak Creme Brulee. It was bitterly sweet and I liked it. The combination of the taste was unique. The added bonus was the actual fruit in the dessert. We
also had the Gula Melaka Drink. This was a concoction of Gula Melaka and red beans. This smoothie was not too sweet (just the way I like it).

A feast. Different tastes and texture all in one tray. The beef rendang was tender. The fried paru had just the right amount of spice. The lemak chili padi chicken was not too spicy, just the way I like it. Add vegetable keropok (from the kid's meal) and teh 'o and the meal was perfect! This cafe has served consistently good food. My only grouse was, there was not enough ulam or salad. I will ask for more kacang botok or winged bean the next time.

Earl grey with lemon and blueberry cake. Distinct and totally fabulous! Not keen on speciality cakes? Then why not try the safe but sinfully good Red Velvet and Salted Caramel cakes. They have so many cakes to choose from. All devilishly good!

I've not eaten a soto with such thick gravy. Nice. Too bad they didn't have bagedil at this time. Some people know this shop as Selamat Datang Mee Soto & Mee Rebus.
