We ordered the $36 chicken curry in bolo bun 2 days in advance and opt for self collection. It is big! Curry is fragrace and delicious. Looks spicy but not as spicy as it looks. Curry is just thick enough for pairing with the bread. It says for 3-4 pax but 2 of us gobble up the chicken and potato with 3/4 of the bread. 😂 Chicken meat consist of drum and thigh meat. Around 12-14 chopped pieces with bone and 6 half small potatos. The bolo crust is buttery and sweet. Bread underneath is nice with fluff and slight chew suitable for curry.

The look and thought of it is delicious. But kinda disappointed when tasted. Firstly the ingredients are a bit too little for the price. 2 tiny pieces of cut sausages, 2 slices of button mushroom and 3 pieces of another type of mushroom... Secondly, tomato rice.. Am i suppose to taste curry? Not too sure about the Au Curry part. The souffle part is nice. But overall just lack of the YUMMY feel. Taste does not match the interesting outlook.
Nice! The katsu is well flavoured and tender. Unlike some other places, the katsu is too dry and/or plain. You can order the tarta from fruit paradise as dessert too. Same boss.
Ordered the waffle with Mao Shan Wang ice-cream as breakfast :p It came out so pretty~ I've a weakness for pretty food! Waffle is crispy, ice cream is not bad too. Also had truffle fries. Forgot to take a pic. It's good too. The cafe may not be as popular as Lola but the food is not bad. Do try :)
I love the ideal of waffle instead of English muffins or bread since i am a waffle lover... but... the poached egg and hollandaise sauce lacks flavour. The sauce and egg taste plain, tasteless even though it is creamy... hope they will improve their sauce and drain the poached egg better.. next time will try their big breakfast instead...

Went there for the waffle that my friend recommended. The waffle is crispy, thick and portion is big too. The scoop of ice cream is a bit small when the waffle is big. Truffle fries is also recommended. You can surely taste the truffle in the fries. Rainbow cake comes in white chocolate and dark chocolate too. I had the dark chocolate one. Not too sweet for my taste. Wings are crispy, honey sweet with a pinch of spiciness. Tried the mini hawaiian pizza. Sorry missed out the photo. Small but full with toppings. Not too bad!
Meal will never be complete without dessert. My motto. Not bad. There are around 10 choices of ice-cream i think. no wow flavour after tasted a few. Always seems to be lack of something in the flavour. E.g. Berry Cheesy don't really has berry taste, Cookies & Cream can't really taste the cookie. In the end picked cookie and cream and salted caramel. I still likes the cookie and cream from New Zealand Natural Ice-cream. The waffle is nice and springy. Not the best waffle ice-cream i have eaten but not the worst waffle ice-cream either.
The White Bee Hoon is the one that brought us here to Punggol Settlement branch. The soup is strong in flavour, like hokkien prawn mee without too much prawn taste and just bee hoon no noodle. The meat and seafood roll is another signature dish. More meaty than the normal wu xiang. The chicken wing is also recommended dish but i feel it is just normal prawn paste chicken wing. Nothing special with the yam ring. Nice but normal. It is a nice eatery with reasonable zi char pricing. However i would avoid weekend dining hours especially on PH or festive occasions. The quene is super long. The taste is not special enough to quene that long for it. Will return when i have craving for nice bee hoon hor fan on weekday.
Usually i will go to Yum Cha for my dim sum crave. Tried this place and it is good enough to settle my dim sum crave at half the price i need to pay at Yum Cha. I ordered the siew mai, har kow, salted egg custard bun, yam puff, prawn rice roll, century egg porridge and steam carrot cake. All are nice for me. The porridge is the least fancy among the orders. Recommend the steam carrot cake and the salted egg custard bun. Would like to try the banana red bean next time.
You will fall in love with it at first sight... if you are a dessert lover... you can choose 3 of categories from limited choices. Let you taste 4 dessert at one time! I'm greedy, tried to eat one box by myself and it proved that it's too much! Hahaa... sugar overdose! But interesting and satisfy my "don't know which to choose" dessert syndrome...
