Linguine pasta served with crab meat in tomato cream sauce ($26) This is one of my favourite pastas on the menu, having been here several times. Real crab meat is used, portions are generous and the tomato cream sauce is so tasty that you’ll be using your bread to mop it up at the end of the meal. Highly recommended! Service is usually great too! 1 for 1 available with Entertainer 2019.

La Nonna Pizza ($24.50) is the signature pizza at La Nonna’s and a staple order every time I visit. A generous amount of black truffle paste is used on a cheese and tomato pizza base, completed with asparagus and a delightful runny egg in the centre. Service is fantastic too! 1 for 1 available on Entertainer 2019.

Smoked duck aglio olio ($10.90) Pasta was al dente, smoked duck was...well, smoked duck. Decent for a quick meal, but nothin extraordinary. Would recommend the mains much more so than the pasta at this place. 1-for-1 available on Burpple Beyond.

Grilled Thai Boneless Chicken Leg with Coconut Risotto ($16.90) this was a very interesting fusion dish! Chicken leg was flavorful and tender, coconut risotto was complemented by several chunks of fried broccoli. Very impressed but the creativity of the dishes in this seemingly unassuming establishment. 1-for-1 Available on Burpple Beyond.

Full Steam Ahead ($18) scrambled eggs were decently fluffy and served fresh, brioche was yummy too. Overall a pretty decent breakfast platter, but nothing extra-ordinary. The cafe has cute nautical-themed decor. 6.5/10.

Linguine Pesto Prawn ($19) Pasta was al dente, pesto was decent but nothing to shout about. Worth it with the Burpple Beyond discount but otherwise I’d give it a pass.

Love the iced pear tea ($11/pot) it’s light, refreshing and not too sweet. Though the price is slightly steep, ambience is cosy and you can choose from a huge assortment of tea and spend a lazy afternoon chilling out here. Light snacks, main courses and high tea sets are available here too.

Dos Amigos Roll ($14.95) interesting combination of grilled unagi, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber and tempura crunch to top it off. I quite enjoyed the combination, but it might not sit so well with those who enjoy slightly more conventional sushi ingredients.

Aloha Poke Bowl (from $13.95, depending on size) salmon and tuna were fresh, generous portions of avocado and tamago. Really enjoyed this bowl!

Black Tea Latte with Pearls ($3.90(M)) milk tea was slightly above average, nothing to shout about. The interesting thing about Hollin is the handmade pearls. The daily pearl flavour is Honey White Pearls. There is a special flavour that rotates on a daily basis. The one we had was Black Sesame (Saturday’s flavour) which was interesting and you could really taste the black sesame, but in terms of texture, slightly on the tougher side. Worth a shot with Burpple Beyond.

Strawberry Green Tea ($3.20(M)) refreshing drink for a hot day. Available on Burpple Beyond!

Garlic Snowing Pizza ($25). The thin crust pizza came with a sweet white sauce (think something similar to classified chicken from dominos), shrimp, a generous amount of garlic chips and Parmesan cheese that is grated onto the pizza at your table. (Also comes with pineapples, but we requested to have it without) pretty decent and tasty, would recommend this is you like garlic! Available on Burpple Beyond and Entertainer 2019.
