Lynn's Cakes & Coffee's Rainbow Cake was one of the best I ever had. It was well layered, moist and spongy. The flat white didn’t complement well with it, probably because it didn’t taste robust like how I like my coffee to be. On another note, a pot of tea might have been a wiser option. The Short Review

Price Range: $20-$25

Nearest MRT: one-north

Instagrammability: Moderate -
High ceiling, dim lighting.

Food:
1) Brioche French Toast [$17.00+]
Unique choice of Rhubarb Jam & Creme Fraiche as the primary flavours, though they aren't as satisfying as the typical Maple & Cinnamon.

2) Pulled Pork Burger [$16.00+]
Okay flavours, but dry at times.
Bun gets soggy fast.
Potatoes could have been boiled longer.

3) Hot Chocolate [$5.00+]
Tasted machine-dispensed.

4) Nutty Professor Milkshake [$9.00+]
Best thing on our table.
A tall glass of thick & frothy hazelnut goodness, though it could possibly be replicated in ice-cream bars at similar rates.

Haven't visited Jimmy Monkey since a disappointing first visit, 2 years ago.
In a world of change, it's nice to see some things remain the same.

Photogenic food, but hits and misses. Mac & cheese a little gelat towards the end, but it was quite tasty. Eggs Ben served on waffles was an absolute disappointment, it was bland. The honey baked ham was chunky, but also tasteless. At least waffles were pretty well done.
