Durian lovers listen up, the best dessert combo for you on a hot sunny day is now available for $4 at McDonald’s!

The salmon nigiri was the supposed star of the show, but with its already subpar rice, even the salmon could not salvage the mess. The sliced salmon alone was decent, but the overall taste was hardly up to standard.

I however, went for the alternate route and decided to order there preset best seller - An assortment of seafood and condiment on a bed of sushi rice, their Signature Kaisen Don. 🍣
β€’
Salmon, Maguro Akami (Tuna), Mekajiki (Swordfish), Mini Hotate (Scallop), Tamagoyaki (Egg Roll), Ikura (Salmon Roe), Cucumber, Scallion, Pickles, Sesame Seeds and finally their special Kaisen Sauce. 🍱
β€’
Overall it felt that the quality was subpar in terms of the seafood and presentation. A simple yet meticulous dish such as this fails to impress with fresh ingredients, and cold mushy rice. Just the thought of using cooked rubbery scallops as well as using a plastic bowl definitely speaks for itself. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

A Japan size serving of ramen in a tonkotsu broth with a generous topping of fresh white shredded negi (green onions), bannou negi (chopped green onions), slices of Cha Shu, seaweed, and their signature black Ma-Yu, aka roasted garlic oil.🍜
β€’
What stands out the most has to be their tonkotsu broth - a viscosity which will slightly reminds you of the local Lor mee, but with the usual creamy and rich flavours one will expect from pork bone broth. Not forgetting the finishing touch of pungent garlic oil that lovers of bold flavours will adore.
β€’
Though the fresh tanginess of the shredded negi cuts through the heavy broth and provides a refreshing crunchy texture, the bold flavour could be overwhelming to some.
β€’
For those with a lighter wallet, the regular tonkotsu ramen for $10.80++ is a similar experience with just lesser Cha Shu and bean sprouts instead of green onions. 🌱

A delicious combination of tortilla chips, chili con carne, melted cheese, sour cream, salsas and guacamole. πŸ₯‘

This Northern Mexican snack is a great platter to share among friends, and it's packed with flavour and freshness. I really enjoy the sweetness of the tomatoes and buttery guacamole. Best eaten immediately after being served, to avoid any soggy nachos on the bottom. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»
β€’
Also try their California Burrito, filled with fries, steak, cheese and sour cream, wrapped in a tortilla shell, if you aren't a fan of the usual beans and rice like me. 🌯

A match-made in heaven when you combine two of their best sellers (Thai Milk Tea & Shibuya Toasts), into a delicious treat for your sweet tooth.🍬
β€’
Just like the other variations, it starts off with a brick of toast - crispy exterior with a buttery and fluffy inside to soak up all the sweet and rich Thai milk tea sauce. 🍞
β€’
The Thai milk tea ice-cream wasn't the smoothest nor the creamiest, but the flavour was as rich as the drinks they serve. The cookie crumbs add a nice crunchy mouthfeel to the dessert, which compliments the toast well. πŸͺ
β€’
Great dessert for sharing, and would totally recommend you to try it! I guess the Aloha Coconut is in second place now. πŸ€™πŸ»

A comforting bowl of handmade Udon in their special broth soup made from dried sardines and bonito. Topped with slices of beef, seeet onions, an onsen egg ($1.40), and an assortment of condiments at the DIY counter to customise your very own bowl of noodle. 🍜
β€’
The Udon was smooth, chewy and with just the right thickness to slurp till you shiok. Accompanied by their special savoury broth, the slight tinge of sweetness and umami doesn't taste overpowering, but allows you to appreciate the craft of the noodles.
β€’
The beef was tender and juicy, but somehow I felt bad for neglecting it. Regardless your choice of beef or pork, its all about that Udon! πŸ‘πŸ»
