The texture and flavour of these local delicacies were on point, well seasoned, soft and tender.
The soft and tender kuehs are great for afternoon tea.

We tried out Brazil (Fazenda São Paolo) and Columbia (Tablon De Gomez) this time round, both not too acidic and quite rich bodied. Love!!
This was one of better cheese cakes we have tried in recent times. It was not too dense, rich in flavour yet light in taste. Very impressed.
With 2 free range organic eggs well scrambled (and added another portion too), bacon, pork sausage, herbed Roma tomato, hash browns, portobello mushrooms, house-made baked chorizo beans served with artisanal sourdough, it was pretty good and very hearty.
Beef patties were house-made and were “crisp on the outside, juicy inside”, together with cheddar, onion jam, lettuce, mayo, beetroot BBQ sauce and huge portion of herbed fries, it was very filling and very delicious indeed.
The double beef patties were grilled medium rare, served with lettuce, tomatoes, garlic mayonnaise, fries and mesclun. Simple, no fuss.
The breeze and nice marina view complimented the dining experience!

The set came with stuffed beancurd, bittergourd, tofu puff and a very delicious and bouncy prawn and pork ball. Super yummy!! The yam rice was fluffy and fragrant, perfect for lunch!!
Of course also not forgetting the crispy fried chicken wings, which we could devour a lot, but just have to settle with a pair.

Exceedingly creamy, rich and flavourful.
Not too spicy, positively one of the best current chicken noodle in town.
Opted for extra portions of moist and tender boneless chicken, companied with chunky potatoes together with taupok, taugeh (beansprouts) and slices of fish cakes, absolutely irresistable!!

This vegan salad came with falafel, homemade hummus and tahini, with lots of refreshing herbs, avocado, pomegranate which further enhanced with cured lemon and watercress pesto, very delicious and worth recommendation!!

The egg tart pastry was so buttery and fragrant, yet holds its shape very well. Not to mention the smooth custard which is creamy and delicious, yet not overly sweetened. Love!!
I don’t know about you, but coconut tarts have always been my childhood favourite, and I have always liked this version from Tai Cheong, especially the cherry half on top, just brought back lots of good old memories.
Well barbecued, super tender and best to go along with all the kimchi and chili paste, and garlic slices!!
The Chadol Doenjang-jjigae (Soybean Paste Stew with Beef Brisket) was strong soybean paste flavor, and full of ingredients. Very hearty and comforting.
Ordered couple of rounds of panchan spread, especially kimchi, a must have in Korean BBQ meal.
This restaurant most certainly stood the test of time, and still going on strong!!
