I got the truffle carbonara and the serving was generous! The fettuccine was cooked perfectly al dente and the porcini cream sauce gave a unique earthy and nutty flavour which I loved. However we felt it would be more apt if the dish was named โ€œMushroom Carbonaraโ€ instead because the truffle taste was really lacking. That aside, I really enjoyed this dish.

Moving on to the burger, it definitely fell short of our expectations. We didnโ€™t realise it would be a steak burger, as in a whole steak instead of a minced beef patty within the burger, but the steak was so dry and tough to bite through. The dark yuzu sauce also tasted just like barbecue sauce, which was not to my liking. The saving grace here was the truffle fries though! While itโ€™s similar to any other decent truffle fries, it for sure stood out against the burger.

I would probably visit this place again, just not for the burger! I loved how cozy the interior looked and would try out other items on their menu.

This came with snow crab, prawn, salmon, scallop and vegetables. Was looking forward to this but was eventually disappointed ๐Ÿ˜• The batter was neither light nor crispy, though the ingredients were fresh as usual. I would have preferred it if the tempura werenโ€™t drenched in sauce and the dipping sauce was served at the side.

Not the first time getting this and it was good as before! Ingredients were fresh and I liked how the 3 ingredients spared us from the tough choice of choosing one of the three! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Came with perfectly poached eggs, sautรฉed spinach and Iberico jamรณn with mantous. We felt that this could do with the mantous being slightly toasted as the texture was rather one-dimensional. Flavour wise, I found that the yolks overpowered the dish and the flavours of the hollandaise and jamon were more muted.

This, on the other hand, did not disappoint. The eggs were soft cooked atop a bed of thick chilli crab and tomato sauce and it was topped with a generous portion of crab meat. The sauce itself was well-balanced and I liked how the sweetness made the spice much more tolerable. The mantous were deep fried and remained crisp till the end, which added a nice contrast in textures of the dish.

Overall it was a pleasant visit with prompt service and the red and white interior of the cafe was indeed a refreshing sight. Iโ€™d recommend you guys to visit before 10.30am to avoid the crowd!

Very simple yet delectable mushroom pasta. The spaghetti was cooked al dente and every strand was well coated in the umami-packed mushroom sauce. This no-frills pasta was enjoyable from start to end and Iโ€™m already craving it!

This was amazing. The slow cooked beef was easy to bite through and very well marinated. The flavours of the quesadilla were well-balanced as well. What I absolutely loved was how the tortilla maintained its crunch till the end and that, with the tender beef, were truly a match made in heaven.

The service here was also good and prompt and Iโ€™m sure to be back again!

Finally tried something other than their signature and green tea ones and was glad I did! As usual, their crepes are paper-thin and the rose pastry cream was incredibly light. The beautiful sweet rose jelly added another dimension of texture but my only gripe was that it was a little too sweet!

A very hearty dish of grilled salmon served with sautรฉed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, baked potatoes, broccoli and tomato salsa. All the components were well-seasoned and the tartness of the salsa and cherry tomatoes helped offset the saltiness of the salmon and potatoes. The salmon fillet was also slightly overcooked, but wasnโ€™t too tough to finish. Nonetheless, I appreciated this fairly simple dish!

Loved the miso cream sauce here. It was an umami bomb that was so insanely flavourful and I really recommend this to fans of cream pastas! However the salmon was similarly overcooked and we also felt that the portion was a little small.

I would say that the prices here are not exactly the most wallet-friendly without Burpple but I would want to visit again to give their other dishes a go. ๐Ÿ˜‹
