Rabboki is a popular street snack that consist of ramyeon & tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes). I do love spicy food but I have underestimated the spice level for this. This savoury yet sweet & spicy dish really packs a punch, keeps us wanting for more!

My fiancé reserved 2 seats for us via Chope app (without purchasing any vouchers/deals) at this few months old restaurant. Before ordering, we asked the staff if we’re able to use Burpple Beyond & what are the items that it is not inclusive of the deal.

We reckon she might be a new staff, cuz when we asked about drinks, she told us only beer is inclusive of the Burpple Beyond deal 🤔 A much senior staff (probably manager?) took over & clarified only Wines are not applicable.

Food was decent & served fast upon our confirmed order. To our horror upon making payment, the senior staff told us that since we used Chope, we are not allowed to use Burpple Beyond! (I’ve reserved seats via Chope & used Burpple Beyond at other restaurant but never encountered this problem) My fiancé explained that we only reserved seats via Chope & no deals/vouchers were redeemed nor purchased. She insisted that is her company’s policy.

Have any one came across this issue before?

Food & Beverages ordered: Arora Prawn Pasta ($20.00), Chicken Chop ($18.00), 4+U Onion Rings ($10.00), Planet Brew Mocktail ($8.50), Berry Red ($8.50)

Total damage: $76.51 (incl 10% Svc Charge & 7% GST)

Of all the eggs benedict that I’ve eaten, this has got to be my favourite! Most of the times eggs benedict are topped onto toasted muffin that could get a little tough & hard. At Rookery, their perfectly poached eggs were topped onto brioche which was soft, with avocado spread! You can choose either pulled pork or smoked salmon however I chose the latter. Thank you Burpple Beyond for bringing me on a journey!

To be honest, we were actually going to visit another restaurant along the same stretch but it was so crowded thus we settled for Da Shi Jia instead.

My fiancé & I prefer more robust flavors (重口味) so we highly recommend the Wok Fried White Bee Hoon ($16.80)! The prawn noodle soup however was rather disappointing & lackluster - bland for us!

Poké bowls have been popular lately, I've tasted a few but my vote still goes to Aloha Poké! Their sushi rice have such great flavour. I've ordered two scoops of spicy salmon and it really does give a spicy kick! Definitely craving it again...

I missed you so big prawn ee mian from Kok Sen! My ex department used to visit this restaurant for our annual Chinese New Year dinner or departmental dinner. Expect a long queue starting after 6.30pm, thus do come early or you may want to try reserving a table.

This plate of noodles is just 9 bucks and can be shared between 2pax of small eaters. A tinge of spiciness amongst the very rich prawn broth and fried shallots! Oh-so-good... Just across the street is Tong Ah whereby you can have their most talked about quite recently - French toasts & traditional toasts too!

Hello there Rosu 🐄, we meet again!

Back at my favourite yakiniku place in Singapore! Brought a Japanese colleague over to try out this place! (However I reckon he might have tried it in Tokyo). Ordered the usual Curry Rice, Tokusei Reimen, Tokusen Tan - Shio (Ox Tongue), Yazawa Salad. Can't really recall which part of the meat did we ordered but it should be rosu & harami.

The food did not disappoint. It was still as yummy as it was! A small 12 tables restaurant, the seats are easily fully booked! Do reserve few days in advance to avoid any dismay. The price may be hefty but they serve the best cut of beef!

The chilli crab croissant had too much impact on me that I'm already craving for it again! I had the thought tt it'll only have a tiny bit of filling but the entire center of the croissant was packed with chilli crab filling! Not to mention the salted egg yolk was great too! For matcha lovers, the matcha croissant would not disappoint you either.

Had been wanting to visit Kyushu Pancake Cafe ever since I drove past it before it's official statement on its opening on social network. Was in a dilemma on what to order, decided to order Eggs Benedict due to my love for eggs... At Kyushu Pancake Cafe, the pancakes are made with 7 different grains that are grown in Kyushu that gives it a unique taste and chewy texture. I felt that maybe they should have been more generous with their hollandaise sauce...

Ventured out to the East last Saturday and I have never regretted the long journey from the West. Gosh this bowl of Bak Chor Mee didn't had a queue when we reached approximately 7.45pm. But we were told to wait for our orders as they've quite a list! We finished a plate of carrot cake whilst waiting for abt 40mins. The noodles reminded me of ramen noodles, springy & smooth. The soup is really tasty too! Best 4 bucks spent on 🙃🙂
