Satay was too burnt and meat was too dry. Sauce was not too sweet, creamy with intense peanut flavour.
Super nice Aunty!! Awesome service aside, the stingray sauce was slightly too sweet but the meat was cooked well. The cincalok was amazing, tangy and shrimpy which paired really well with the stingray!
Excellent duck rice fare in a shoddy coffeeshop in Geylang. The sauce is a bit too sweet for my liking, but paired with the chilli sauce, you get an explosion of flavours in your mouth. I was surprised by the cabbage soup: light, refreshing and absolutely delicious. Worth the try!
Simple fare. Although it’s pricier than hawker places, you’re guaranteed a good bowl of springy noodles, umami soup, springy fishballs and generous slices of fish cake.
Sauce was slightly sweet for my liking and the sauce could be torched a bit more. Decent portion for the price as the salmon was thick and the fish roe was really generous. Worth a try!
Affordable Japanese food! Wide variety of fresh fish in generous portions. Nothing to complain about! The rice could be slightly more vinegary but generally a filling and satisfying meal!
Simple, tasty beef pho with tendons, beef balls, beef slices and beef shank. It was supposed to have tripe but I omitted it. Savoury, light and refreshing soup base and generous ingredients and noodles. Definitely one of the better pho in Singapore!!
Not a fan of pad thai but my parents loved this dish. They said there was a balance in savoury and sweetness, and it was sufficiently wet without being too oily. I felt that the noodles were cooked nicely, coated well with the sauce but retaining a bite.
What made this dish different was that the tempura cereal batter contained hints of coconut, which added an interesting and delectable nuttiness to the dish. Could be less salty though! But definitely worth a try.
Best pandan chicken in Singapore!!! Extremely juicy chicken, packed with spices like lemongrass, galangal and IDK WHAT MAGIC
Decent! Sufficient basil is used so that every bite of pork is packed with the fragrance of the herb, yet not overpowering the entire dish. Very well balanced, which is often not achieved in Thai dishes found in Singapore
I really enjoy clear Tom yum soup, especially the one at first Thai. I feel like good clear Tom yum soup is a paradox, extremely light in taste but very intense in flavour.
