Really delicious capellini from Pasta La Vista! My partner normally does not like capellini, but the cook on the pasta was al dente, so it had a lovely bite to it. This is a spring special, and we also got $3 off using points on Honestbee!

Dishes we got: Trofie with Crab, Asparagus and Mint salmoriglio ($25) and Grilled Swordfish ($30)

Review: I was really disappointed with my pasta, because the trofie was undercooked (you could still see the raw flour when you cut into the pasta), and the taste of garlic was really overwhelming in the dish. It overpowered the mint so you couldn’t tell that there was mint in the dish at all. The flavors were nice for the first few monthfuls, but it became too heavy after awhile.

My partner had the swordfish, it was generally quite well cooked. Despite swordfish being quite a dense fish, it still retained some moisture and wasn’t too dry.

We had the Burrata Pizza ($26) and Mixed Mushroom Pizza ($26). Loved the dough, it was fluffy and just the right amount of chewy. I particularly loved the burrata pizza, the creaminess of the burrata went so well with the tangy tomato sauce 😍

We had the Dory Fish and Crisps ($8.90), and added on a set with a drink and garlic bread. This wasn’t our first time having Big Fish Small Fish, but it was our first time at this outlet. Given that it had rained earlier in the day, it was a perfect evening to have dinner there, it was cool and the view was lovely. The food was great too, we loved the fact that you could have as many different sauces as you want. We did find the Salted Egg sauce a little too sweet for our liking, so it was nice having a variety of sauces so you don’t get too jelat with any one sauce.
