Saw reviews of this place and decided to go and try it to see what the hype is about! Portions are very general, and good to share for 2-3 pax (filling for everyone) at only $22! However, the taste fell short as there was nothing special to rave about. Taste average, probably something that you can whip up at home without having to even pay such a price if you buy your own seafood ingredients!!

Quite a different experience from the usual soupy yong tau foo dish in centres. Certain ingredients here are fried such as hotdogs, seaweed and egg. The dish in general was pretty tasty, although I would say it is slightly pricey as the portions are not very big β€” 6 ingredients for $6.50 (rice option). I opted for the dry noodles option with the standard 6 ingredients and it amounted to $7. Nonetheless, the seaweed was perfectly crisp, leaving me yearning for more of that yummy goodness!

Salmon was well-seared and tender; not overcooked and very well seasoned as well. Veggies provided were crunchy too and gave a nice texture to the overall dish. Added an onsen egg which was cooked to my liking, not overly raw but still runny with a nice thick consistency. For the quality of food produced, the price to pay is quite affordable!!!

Love this cold dish β€” a very interesting take from usual dinner choices!!! Scallops were fresh and tender and the different components of dish complemented the capellini very well. Black and white sesame bits gave a good crunch to the dish, and the pomegranates provided a sweet burst of flavour to the overall savoury taste of the dish πŸ‘πŸ»

Linguine was cooked al dente style perfectly, not too hard. Dish was well seasoned with a strong umami taste. Good for sharing as having one your own might get a little β€œgelat” as it can get a little too salty with many mouthfuls.

Pork belly was very well grilled and extremely tender, melts into your mouth. Dish is very well conceived and has a charred fragrance, and the rice has a charred taste as well which is nice and not too overpowering.

Generous portions of juicy portobello mushrooms, coated with a layer of bread crumbs and well fried β€” does not taste like it’s just a layer of thick crust. Served with a side of truffle aioli which tastes very satisfying. This would be good for sharing as it can get quite β€˜gelat’ and filling.

Pizza was fragrant and garlic wasn’t too overpowering. The pineapples help to balance out the garlicky taste!

Fried truffle mushrooms were pretty good, although I would say the truffle taste wasn’t very prominent. Shakshuka was very flavourful!

White chrysanthemum flavour was refreshing and unique! Earl grey lavender did not disappoint as well. πŸ‘πŸ» Tried a couple other flavours β€” strawberry basil was pretty refreshing as well, however a little sweet for my liking, sea salt hojicha was slightly disappointing as the flavours don’t really blend well together in my opinion. The thyme cone is a must try as well!!

Toast was 11/10 on point!!! Loved the hummus one as well (not pictured)!!

Dish was disappointing although ambience was pretty nice. Jaffles were cold, truffle taste was not very significant and the sweet potato texture was too clumpy and tasted bland.
