Ramen is one of my favourite kind of food when it comes to Japanese cuisine, that feeling of comfort when eating a bowl of ramen on a rainy day is irresistible. Torimon consists of chicken thigh, lemon slices, sesame seeds, an egg and topped with spring onions. The lemon slices added a citrusy touch to the overall dish, balancing the flavour.

But sad to say, it's not really worth the hype, despite having multiple outlets across Singapore with the latest one at Jurong Point. The only good thing about the drink is the fact that the pearls retains it's chewiness even after leaving it out for awhile. Otherwise, it really taste like a normal cup of brown sugar boba tea with a really steep price for this standard.

I can say that PUCK is my favourite cake, having it twice on both of my trips here.

The top layer is made out of a dark chocolate mousse paired with a sea salt chocolate base. Having the base alone will result in an immense saltiness straight to the palette so I recommend having the mousse and base together for a perfectly balanced flavour.

Sugar Thieves have recently launched their new cake Little Tokyo made up mostly of black sesame! I initially thought the only flavour was only going to be full of black sesame, I was surprised that the matcha was quite distinct, and the yuzu curd brought the whole cake together with it's tanginess, balancing out the goma mousse. While it's stated to have coconut mousse inside, I would say the goma overpowered it because it couldn't really taste the coconut. But definitely a cake I will come back for!

While the initial taste of the cake was full of rose flavour, the addition of a attap seed gave a textural difference to the usual cheesecake we normally have

The cheesecake, even though not overwhelmingly sweet, was really rich so I recommend sharing with a friend.

I can say it's a cake that's easy to fall in love with. The raspberry and grapefruit compotes adds tartness to the cake which is balanced out nicely by the subtle fragrance of the Jasmine and lychee.

The tongue is tender and flavourful when mixed together with the shoyu and furikake. The chilli adds on a touch of spice for an overall well done dish.

The sauce itself is alot more savory then sweet with just the right amount of spice. The pork ribs were tender and juicy without having to chew on for long. To be honest, $6.50 is pretty affordable for the amount of sauce and pork ribs, shall be back to try the other stuffs next time.

The strawberry latte tasted like an atas version of a strawberry milkshake, with pulps of strawberries in between sips. These are no cheap strawberries, you are really able to taste the genuine flavour of the fruit itself with the taste lingering after each sip. Strawberry lovers need to try this.

In frame is their Mix soft serve of matcha and hojicha with sweet potato paste, matcha crunch and castella cake as toppings. The flavour of the softserve is more intense this time wrong, definitely a must try for matcha lovers. The sweet potato paste is really thick when eaten on its own so be sure to have it together with the softserve.
Thank you Tsujirihei honten for the additional toppings of matcha crunch and castella cake.
On a side note, I bought a couple of their matcha powders to test and see whether it will taste better in cookies, stay tuned to @bitesizedcrew to find out!

The chocolate caramel is akin to chocolate ice creams found in convenience store, and the matcha and hojicha softserve really lack the flavour that I was looking forward to.

The Pompom won my heart over, with not only it's aesthetics but the taste. There was a perfect balance between tart and sweet with the fragrance of apple permeating with each mouthful. An enjoyable dessert indeed!
