Randomly wandered here after dinner with the girls and Iโm truly a sucker for unique flavours - got the pistachio cone and Ispahan (raspberry, rose & lychee) ๐
For $2.50 a pop, this is one of those things you must try when you do visit - essentially a shot of olives in a boba skin ๐
Easily one of my fav bagel places, ever ๐ the first time I tried TMBH was a couple of years back when I was craving for a good bagel after years in the UK for uni. Definitely hits the spot for when I need my bagel cravings fixed ๐
Ft. Hangover Helper ($12), which is essentially a big breakfast plate in a bagel and Zoidberg ($14), the classic smoked salmon (this one uses beet cured lox!!) and cream cheese combo
Oliviaโs Creamy Homemade Cheesecake ($14/slice)
For those looking for that special twist to yet another cheesecake - pleasantly surprised by how nicely the blue cheese flavour lingered just long enough in every bite to remind you of its presence, yet not so overpowering that itโll turn blue cheese haters away.
This was one of those things on the menu which was stated as โSeasonalโ and โAsk the chefโ for more details, which people typically tell you to stay away from ๐ but boy were we glad that we took a leap of faith and gave this a try - the pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned, accompanied with a young papaya (!!!) sauerkraut, Genting tomato salad and fries. True to its philosophy, the food we had that day allowed the quality ingredients to speak for itself - clean flavours and harmonious pairings that comes with respect for the food put on the table ๐
+ the cosy and chill vibe and excellent service (shoutout to you Xavier!), weโre looking forward to our next visit.
Always enjoyed some of their richer ice cream flavours like the salted butterscotch & chocolate stout ๐ฌ also doesnโt hurt that itโs so centrally located!
(Waffles in photo - $7 with burpple beyond)
Admittedly tried this place because of Burpple Beyond, but was vv pleased with how the latte ($5) and mocha ($5.50) had just the right amount of caffeine hit (personally prefer stronger coffees) rounded out with a nice milky finish.
We ordered the Breakfast Works ($27) which hit all the right spots a big breakfast platter should - slightly pricey without Burpple beyond, but guess weโll be back for more coffee & to try the French toast!
