fish wasn’t as fresh as i had remembered the last time i ate it but it it still super crisp and fried to perfection. portion is big and student promo comes with free flow drinks too!

here’s a cozy chill cafe in one of the hippest hoods 😙 got the 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐣𝐮𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟔) and wow everything was done to perfection. chicken was tender and flavourfully herb seasoned, tater tots were so well fried and crisp and the vege was roasted with a nice flavourful char. defo coming back to try other things!

beef itself was q fatty and tough :-( broth was average bah but the meatballs were its saving grace. after 1-1 it’s $3.45 per bowl so i guess not bad price wise for vietnamese food but nah don’t think i’ll get again

trying out this michelin star ramen place for the first time! here’s the 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐛𝐚 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟑.𝟖𝟎++) which was infused with a black garlic oil - super fragrant and i love that the noodles aren’t too soft and mushy. the broth was tasty and thick too! down side is that it only contained 1 sad slice of pork which was not the softest but average i guess. i also topped up with a ramen egg (+SGD2) and it was well marinated just that the yolk wasn’t really flowy,,,,,a bit like the 7-11 eggs lol. overall it was alright but the noodles and soup are defo better than average tho!

back at one of my fav places for brunch 🥺 their prices are affordable, portions are generous and food is simply delish 😽👌 got the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟒.𝟓𝟎++) which is scrambled eggs vibe infused with pesto sauce with sourdough bread and my tummy was so satisfied. also got the 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟓++) but idk how to appreciate coffee so don’t trust me when i say their latte is more bitter than my usual latte 😬 but still refreshing! anw gotta come back to try more dishes :-)

back after exams and holidays and other crazy stuff. anw used the burpple 1-1 promo for this 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟓.𝟗𝟎) and it was okay….HAHA. the pesto taste was definitely there, but it wasn’t as strong as i had hoped. i liked that the pasta was al dente tho, and that the chicken was tender. overall i feel it’s pretty overpriced without the burpple so prob won’t be back :-(

sorry have been sooo busy but FINALLY got to try this place omg it was rly divine 🤤🤤 i DIYed the pasta with pink sauce, chicken breast & sous vide egg, which amounted to SGD14.90++ - super worth if you ask me. the handmade pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the pink sauce was so flavourful - not too thick but extremely satisfying. probably one of my fav places for pasta now.

chanced upon this restaurant and decided to go for the 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐲𝐨𝐳𝐚 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟓.𝟗𝟎) and i’m sorry to say that this is the inferior version of the din tai fung fried rice😩. the rice wasn’t as fragrant and also not so much wok hey, but it passes as a fried rice la. the pork was ok too. for the gyoza, it was flavourful but a bit too salty for me. but maybe bc i’m a steamed dumplings person 😛

visited jewel since forever lol and decided to eat some good ol’ mexican. got the chicken and fish tacos, pork and beef quesadilla (each ~SGD16-18) and I CANT DECIDE on which one i like most bc everything is so good. fillings are generous, and flavours come together so well. prices are decent plus have burpple too! anw love love this place defo coming back again.
