came here for solid burgers and was not disappointed :-) got the 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝟎𝟎𝟏 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟐++) containing a robust piece of meat patty that was nicely charred with caramelised onions. at certain points i thought i tasted lamb?¿ personally not a fan of that, but on the whole everything came together rly well! shoutout to the buns bc it was so buttery and crisp at the edges 😍 defo one of better burger buns i’ve tasted. the 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟏++) was also pretty solid and flavourful - would get again! the drinks however were q ex (~SGD16++) for 1 pint though it was good 😊

would come here for the drinks > food tbh!! the laksa mac and cheese (~sgd15++) although tasty and good came in a rly small portion with sadly 3-4 pieces of prawn so was q ex :-( the avocado toast (~sgd16++) used sourdough bread so that was nice. food was decent but the drinks were just 🥰😍💯🫶 got the matcha latte and it was super gao!! asked for less sweet but i think still a tad bit sweet so will get without sugar next time. anw this is a perfect place to study bc there’s no one even on the weekends and the music acoustic vibes just ❤️❤️❤️

saw this on tiktok and queued 40min to try it 🤡 and i was pleasantly surprised by this recommendation! how it works is that you order a set, which consists of your meat of choice and a bowl of rice in a hotpot (?) thing, and this comes with a free flow salad bar. best part was that it was suuuper affordable. we got the dried atka mackeral set (~SGD19.90++) and miso marinated black cod set (~SGD25.90++) - both fish were extremely flavourful. the dried mackeral was huge and though it contained a lot of small bones, the fleshy meat and it’s tenderness made up for it. the miso black cod on the other hand was sooo tender and silky and so nicely charred i instantly fell in love 😍 both fishes were amazing and i would get again. now, the salad bar was 💯 too (although a bit salty)!!! my favourite dishes was some black fungus salad as well as the coffee jelly……just heavenly. not the cheapest place but for the quality i would definitely queue and pay again 💸

what a cute place! it’s frequently visited by cyclists after the dinosaur park and has a family chill macs vibe :> i got the crabmeat pasta which had generous fillings of crabmeat smothered with a garlicky, slightly thin sauce, but i wish the pasta could be more al dente. my fam also tried the nasi lemak with chicken (~SGD9.90) and though it was expensive for a plate of nasi lemak, it was SO WORTH IT bc the chicken was flavourful, tender and huge 👍 most of the stuff here are

here’s the salmon steak - was alright for $19+ iirc. portion was decent although i felt that the salmon was a tid bit over cooked. anw regardless will defo still come back bc the vibes are 💯 esp on friday and saturday nights where there is live singing in this cozy lil environment w everyone singing along :’) service is amazing and the boss is rly nice too :>

very honestly this is just my grandmother’s egg mayo sandwich plus the 7-11 tamago egg 🙃 $14+ fly 💸 the hello kombu tots (~SGD12+) though were pretty crisp and good and the sauces paired perfectly with them :-) i think this place is waaay too overpriced but i guess you’re paying for the cute vibes :>

tried this raved place with their special 🔥burnt🔥 cones and it burnt a hole in my wallet too 😢😢 for their ice creams, they were smooth, but otherwise nothing much to shout about. the 85% dark chocolate was pretty dark and bitter which was gr8 for a chocolate lover like me. the pistachio was nice, but i would prefer it to be a bit nuttier bc i’m a more 重口味 kind of person. the burnt cones were…FRAGILE it kept breaking while i ate HAHA. didn’t rly have any special flavour also hahah so guys pls educate me on the hype abt this place hahah. sorry man i think it’s ovepriced 😩

i can’t believe this is my first kouign amann ($4.50~) experience……but omg it was heavenly!!! the croissant part was crisp, flaky and the sweetness of the ?sugar paired so well with it. it reminds me a bit of the big flat flaky biscuits in french bakeries (iykwim). we also got the almond croissant (~$6) with a sweetened almond paste inside and again the croissant was 🤌🤌 the bakes were waaay more filling than i had expected lol but very happy that it didn’t feel too greasy :-) i recommend sharing these goodies tho bc portions were q big and can get a bit jelat. otherwise service was commendable - the ppl were rly nice :-) my only qualm is that it’s rather pricey.

a lovely cafe find! it’s a pretty small space but the interior is super cute and pretty :’) i got the 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐚 𝐨𝐫𝐳𝐨 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟐𝟏++) and it was so beautifully flavoured with HUGE and chunky prawns. the orzo had a similar texture to risotto but was cooked well and paired amazingly with the laksa sauce. it comes with some coconut ice cream, but i prefer the pasta without :-) we also shared 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟐++) which was crispy and fried well with a slight truffle taste - not the strongest but it’s there. overall it’s a very cozy, friendly cafe which was bustling with conversations - things i love 🥰

tried this secluded restaurant a while back and the vibes are to die for 💯 super pretty w flowers all around in a quiet neighbourhood :’) food was q meh tbh haha got the pesto parpadelle pasta ($20++) and the pasta was q soft and not al dente 😢 (although some ppl might like it this style) the sauce was a bit too watery for my liking too. we also got the wagyu striploin with peppers ($18++) - seasoning was nubbad, reminded me of satay. my fav was the heaven’s queen drink ($8++) tho HAHA. it was shiok and refreshing :-) overall i think i’ll j come here for the vibes and to getaway from the crowd 😬

this has always been one of my fav places for brunch - ingredients are fresh and generous and the pricing is sooo affordable. but the service could have been nicer 😔 i mean there’s no service / GST but still,,,,,could have been nicer

back at one of my fav cafes! got the burpple smoothie bowl deal with 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐤 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟒++) packed with many greens and antioxidants. sadly i didn’t taste much matcha but overall it was still a satisfying bowl and ingredients were generous :-) we also got the 𝐀𝐯𝐨 + 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟔++) that was smothered with avocado and a hard boiled egg on top with (what i think is) cheese! so yumz :’) for drinks i changed mine to a 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟓++) and it was more bitter than i expected 😬 but definitely still gave me the caffeine kick!
