6 Letter Coffee - Part 3/4 The 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘀 piqued our interest. Nestled within the tortilla shells were scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato salsa, brought together harmoniously by the chipotle honey aioli. The tacos tasted sensational, but $15 for two pieces was rather steep.

6 Letter Coffee - Part 2/4 The 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶 ($19) caught our attention. The masterfully marinated chicken thigh was perfectly executed and surprisingly went well with the side of mashed avocado. The rosti, however, wasn’t crispy enough for our liking.

Ham and Cheese Croissant Can’t go wrong with ham and cheese. $5.90, GST included.

Hot Chocolate The foam is nice and thick. $5.50, GST included

Hits and misses, but will return for a 2nd time 1. Breakfast your way ($17.50+): built your own breakfast set. I had pancake with scrambled egg + mushroom + bacon + maple syrup. The pancake was overcook, hence texture was hard. Egg was ok. 2. Garlic Calamari & Prawn Pasta ($19+): comes with two tiger prawns, was fresh and yummy. However the whole pasta was too oily for my liking. 3. Acoustic Laksa ($21+): taste exactly the same as our traditional laksa but this a dried pasta version. The laksa fragrance was thick enough, Recommended! 4. Classic Tots ($9+): mini harshbrown with maple syrup, this is my to go dish if I’m returning next time. Simple yet delicious! Must eat!

CAPPUCCINO Double shot coffee & it came well-balanced with the milk; not bitter or acidic..

DECONSTRUCTED CHEESECAKE Cream cheese is light & creamy, topped with crunchy biscuit crumbs & strawberries; cream cheese tastes weird when eaten on its own, so give a good toss to mix with the crumbs; though I still prefer the normal cheesecake..

Chocolate Cake This had a generous serving of chocolate and the sponge was moist, complemented by the rich chocolate around it and in the middle.

Chocolate fudge cake. My mother was craving some chocolate cake, so my brother got her some as mother's day part 2. The cake is quite moist and chocolatey. Basque burnt 9nett Must try Molten even when cold, the creaminess and flavour were both good. Rightly, the cheese wasn't too sweet, and they balance it out with a glaze on top. Textbook apart from the glaze, which puts them over the top. The best I've had in recent memory Location ulu tho, abit painful to walk under the sun at noon

Pasta rebus and regular options Pasta rebus is 5.70+ (pleasant, though tweaked) on national day for the first 57 orders. I was the 17th order at 1.30 pm so there should be ample for you if the other cafe queue is unbearable. Almond croissant (4.7+) was good but I haven't had many others. Chicken burger is fine, eggs royale and latte (very foamy!) slightly better, asparagus mushroom pasta unspectacular. Only four tables inside, but there's fans al fresco. Would come back for weekday sets. Only gst charged, consider tipping.

The Queen Eggs Benedict Instagramable food. Looks good. Egg was runny. But don't expect to be filling.

Crown Breakfast This highly recommended platter, most of the reviews here recommend having this platter. This platter also consist of its famous oxtail stew, which I felt was quite ok. Quite a hearty breakfast.

Expensive, not worth Charging $9 for this glass of Chamomile mojito is a travesty. The ice took up almost half the cup.

white cold brew good bottle of coffee, used the 1 for 1 burpple deal. price for one bottle is about $9.27 including gst - wouldn't purchase again if there's no deal on it since it can get a little pricey :-(

Industrial Look Feeding on the industrial and casual laid back feel of this cafe .

Nasi Lemak and Kaya Toast Set Nasi Lemak chicken looked dry at first but it was actually crispy and moist. Rice was fluffy, except in small quantity. Sambal chilli was decently spicy. Kaya toast was good, came with a nice blend of lemony and light Kaya taste. Music was brilliant, great place to chill and do work.

Curry Chicken Rice Beautiful setting to have a chill lunch, with big fans and plenty of natural light. The menu is very small here, with simple dishes like Dry Mee Siam and Curry Chicken Noodles. I ordered the Curry Chicken Rice, which is darn great value for money. Delicious creamy curry with a lot of chicken and potatoes inside. Banchong also serves kaya toast with kaya that's quite subtle and not so sweet, if you like that.

Dark chocolate & pecan hazelnut souffle pancake S$21.90 Soft and fluffy souffle with very generous amount of sauce and condiments. Very satisfying.

Most Instagrammable Cafe The term "Instagrammable Cafe" almost feels like a backhanded compliment, where it may be implied that the food quality can't match up to its aesthetics. Cafe De Nicole's Flower managed to dispel any of that notion by serving pretty food that taste pretty decent in a pretty setting. The Souffle Pancake was egg-cellent. It was eggy and fluffy and in my opinion one of the best souffle pancake around! They also serve an interesting menu of drinks, including the Uji Matcha and Sweet Potato Latte which i thought was pretty nice. The soy milk really brought the best out of the sweet potato and bitter matcha notes. For the others, i would rate the smoked salmon croissant as above average and the tart as below average. Salmon Grain My photo doesn't do justice. One bite of this salmon and it was so flavorful! The salmon is miso-infused, served with brown rice and lotus root pickles. Never a fan of pickles, this one really opens up the tastebud.

Pretty Place With Decent Food Food was refined and service was attentive. The crabmeat pasta was unusual and I enjoyed it the most out of the meal. Had a lot of fun taking pictures around the cafe and the lobby coz of its design! Modern and chic. Rating: 3.5/5 #eatwithnchenggg

Avocado on Toast ($16++) The millennials’ favourite breakfast dish - avocado on toast. 🥑🥚🥖Clan Cafe does a great but pricey version of it. Smashed avocado, two poached eggs (additional $3++) roasted cherry tomatoes and rockets on sourdough. Sounds simple but the combination is on point. Squeeze some lemon if you like a sour flavour profile.
