This pizza is not bad, the combination of truffle with the soft egg in the centre is heavenly!!!
Thai chicken rice is only $2.50 and it's the same price for roasted, steamed or lemon chicken. For the price it is very worth it, the rice is flavourful and not too oily. Though the chicken portion may be less compared to other places. The soup is just chong with hot soup, nothing amazing. One interesting thing is the grated ginger which is greenish yellow and though it lacks salt provides a new dimension to the dish.
This my go to for carrot cake, but now they have increased the price from $2 to $2.50!! But still the standard is maintained and consistent with the outer layer crisp with a soft cake like eggy texture on the inside.
The Ayam Buah Keluak Burger ($5) was really satisfying with the heavy rich meat contrasted with the soft and tasty chap chye. Additionally, the fairy cut fires were really good. As each order is made to order, you may have to wait a while.
The chicken cutlet ($6) was served with a large serving of piping hot wedges with coleslaw and baked beans. The coleslaw was fresh and was still cold unlike many places which serve it lukewarm. The tomato sauce on top of the chicken was a tad bit tasteless but none the less was a great accompaniment to the chicken cutlet.
For $13.90, The Extreme Tendon consisted of a large battered fish, a chicken breast, avacado, sweet potato, an onsen egg as well as two glorious tempura prawns. All of these were fried to crisp perfection and it was not too oily. The sauce on the tendon had a strong hint of sesame oil and there was enough sauce such that the rice had flavour as well.
This $2 chendol with red bean was refreshing on a hot day and the red beans had a bite to it, coupled with the thick coconut milk and hula melaka, it was really good!!!
This was an average dish but the sauce was nice along with the mushrooms. Silky goodness! Medium ($10)
23 cockles with pungent garlic and chilli PADI with a delightful salty black sauce. Together with the cold cockles tasted so heavenly. It costs $7.
