we had 4 cocktails and a thin crust truffle pizza for $70+. the pizza is decent, the cocktails were only okay
surpassed our expectations (especially after reading all the poor reviews)! my dad was really satisfied with the food quality and taste. we had the march menu. usually in buffets you’ll expect some dishes to not be good but this was not the case at all! durian pengat is a must to get it’s so delicious. I liked the drunken clams as well
I’m not a soufflé pancake person so I wasn’t having high expectations but gram’s premium pancakes are nothing like the soufflé! it’s rich and milky. the caramelised banana with regular pancakes were great, was really full afterwards
the chicken chop and mushroom aglio olio is average! the apple cheesecake is quite good but it’s $10. the “gelato” is wall’s ice cream lol not worth the money I think it’s $8-10 :0 the place is spacious and unique, nice to study at
was a little afraid of the poor reviews, but turned out to be a pleasant surprise (at least for the Japan theme)! favourites were the houjicha tart, maple danish, and lobster dish. the burger was ok! tastes like mos beef yakiniku burger. the lavender apple roll tasted like my school’s toilet diffuser/cleaning product though. sweets are pretty indulgent, would feel full after. drinks are also refillable. according to my pal, it was a “slay”.
the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the meal a lot. we got the milo dinosaur and chocolate shibuya toasts, mocha, butterfly pea tea, beef and chicken rice noodles
we both had the macadamia coffee! it was lovely but it was lukewarm (not hot) when served
we tried mocha, spicy crab linguine, and miso salmon! a unique twist on pasta, not salty and dense feeling :)
