Waking up my eyeballs, tastebuds and brain with these vibrantly coloured cups of coffee. Group Therapy Cafe uses a blend of two types of 100% arabica beans, one from Brazil and the other from Ethiopia. A medium-light roasting creates the bright-bodied taste with a hint of chocolate.
Usually crowded during brunch hour especially on weekends. Ideal place for your caffeine fix. Poached egg on Smoked salmon was awesome!
A concept cafe filled with books, figurines and everything about The Little Prince. A small cafe tucked away at Somme Road. Croissant (not in picture) is crispy though I wish the taste can be more "memorable". Rose Latte is interesting, I like that. My first!
Pretty latte art that deserves a pic.
All coffees pulled at this beautiful cafe are double ristrettos. As explained by the barista Dee, the reason for this is to bring out the best of the nutty and chocolatey elements in their Colombian blend from Cuppa. Medium-heavy in body and medium-high in acidity, these are coffees to love.
The formula for this not-so-commonly-requested drink is 2 oz. of espresso plus milk foam and a dusting of chocolate powder. Zul the barista pulled an extra bright cup for me this morning to beat the gloomy grey weather. Prepared this way, the smooth and spicy profile of the coffee became very distinctive.
Somehow, a morning cuppa here guarantees a great start to my day. They always have two types of beans to choose from, with their profile description clearly displayed. I just pick one, then sit back and wait for my beautifully pulled latte.
A hole-in-the-wall cafe run by a lovely couple, this cafe is not just a place for coffee, but a outpost to relax, rejuvenate and recharge before taking life's next challenges. Sit in for a cup of coffee, and couple it up with their signature Earl Grey Tea Cake. Feeling peckish? Try their Curried Chicken Panini-Pressed Wrap which brings a fiery kick of spiciness. A cafe with its own character, Brawn & Brains would certainly be a place to revisit for anyone who had visited it once before.
Situated in a two-story fire-engine red shophouse, Drury Lane along Tanjong Pagar Road is almost hard to miss. Serving up all-day-breakfast with additional dishes such as Cloud 9 (Cream Cheese Pancakes) and 1935 Toast (French Toast with Peanut Butter and Banana) on the weekends, the cafe also offers a variety of homemade pastries which changes daily, serving a seasonal blend of coffee with beans from Toby's Estate and a 'pay as you wish' concept for their muffins.
Mandarin Gallery welcomes a new addition to their brood of elegant and swanky tenants with the launch of The Providore's flagship cafe. Breakfast stops at 12pm on weekdays but extends till 3pm on weekends and showcases artisan breads freshly baked from BAO Bakery and free range eggs. While prices may come across as a little steep, you are getting quality produce in every dish on the menu, and the added convenience of dining in the heart of Orchard Road.
