Ordered and Tried the Batang Fish Soup with Cray Fish and Prawns, as well as the Red Grouper Fish Soup with Cray Fish. The soups were served with generous portions of freshly cut fish, prawns and cray fish. The broth was also rich and well flavored by the minced meat balls that were added. The minced pork was well marinated with mushroom, making the broth thick and not having an overly fishy taste. Would really recommend fish lovers to try out this shop at Woodlands.
Ordered the Emperor Rice Dumpling and the Nonya Rice Dumpling for my family to try and I enjoyed the generous portion of the fillings, consisting of meat, scallops and mushrooms. Every dumpling is packed to the brim, with a substantial amount of meat to rice ratio. As for the Nonya Dumpling, I like how the dumpling has full of flavour and very aromatic due to the pandan leaves wrapping. Will definitely order again in the future as this experience has left me craving for more.
Easily a 9/10. Purchased the Daebak Bundle for 29.90, with beef stew and toppoki add on for $2 each. Food portions are generous for the price! Needless to say, the food is delicious and has left me craving for more.
Tried the Chir Chir Outlet at Bugis Junction and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff there were helpful in recommending us what to order and the portions served were generous too. We had a really full and scrumptious meal there. Ordered the spicy Chicken Drumlets/Winglets set and the dish was served pipping hot. The chicken was crispy, well-seasoned and weren’t too oily nor salty. Would recommend others to try the drumlet set too. An overall pleasant experience. 10/10
The Burrata is very flavourful, cheese pairs well with fruit and veges, and is light on the stomach while introducing the rest of the main courses. smokey Bone Marrow included perfectly browned bread, which was really good, and the smoky flavours complemented the bread well. The steaks were cooked perfectly and extremely tender. Both sauces and the salt paired perfectly with the steaks. We also had Beef Heart Tomatoes which were seasoned perfectly and sweet to taste, and light on the palette. Then Roasted Endives had flavourful cheese which was not too rich and paired well with the ham and vegetables. Our Eton Mess dessert was sweet but not overly, excellent end to an amazing course. The ice cream, strawberries and white cookies blended together perfectly.
Ordered the dried version of the Braised Pork Rib & Prawn Noodle and would definitely give it a 10/10 rating. Broth was piping hot when served and the broth is flavourful and well-seasoned. A protein rich meal with generous portions of fresh prawns and pork ribs, which were succulent and tasty. Definitely one of the best prawn noodles I tried in Singapore, and the prawns served are fresh and chewy. Also ordered the 豆干 and the 猪肉五香 as sides to go with the prawn noodles. I like how chestnuts are added into the Ngo Hiang, which gives an additional crunch to the dish. 10/10 and would come back again!!
Bought the all time favourite purple rice yoghurt
drinks. The yoghurt drink was creamy and it paired
well with the chewy bits of purple rice. would
definitely buy this drink again! loved the strawberry yoghurt too which was tangy with fruit chunks. would come back for more!
I tried the Mango Siracha Rib, a special release by Meat N Chill as it was their 7th birthday. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the meat fell off the bone smoothly and easily, will give it a 8/10. had a really full and hearty meal as the portions are big, alongside the side dish that we ordered ( fries and coleslaw). the staff are really helpful and friendly and even offered to ask if we wanted to change seat as we were sitting under the air condition. perfect place for a dinner getaway with old friends with the cosy and comfortable environment.
