I am blown away by the crispy waffles.
Love that the texture of the waffles is crispy and light.
It's not too filling.
I managed to get a good deal on chope
1 for 1 waffles, managed to save around 8 bucks.
Had salted caramel ice cream with these waffles 🧇
It goes well together. Worth a visit if you enjoy crispy waffles.
Went at 8pm with no crowd, the crowd started streaming in after 9pm.
The place closes at 11pm.

Ordered the Earl Grey nut tea with agar jelly.
The fragrance of the Earl Grey is subtle.
Ordered 0% sugar and the sweetness of the jelly makes the tea taste sweet. $7.90 for a medium size tea.

I personally will try something different the next time around. For the price of a medium size, it's on the high side.
Good news, seats available.

The moment of truth, is disappointing. The tea cost $5.80 without Pearl's. Its $6.40 inclusive of the minimal pearls I was given.
The tea taste strong. Bubble tea drinkers who enjoy strong tea may enjoy this.
Pearls are quite hard.
Nothing to shout about. Can give a miss unless you happen to be around this area.
You can pop by have a drink and sit around to chat. There are seats outdoor.

I was fortunate to come across this old school confectionary at hougang. Soo teck lim vegetarian confectionary. The tau sa piah cost $2.50 per piece. The soft and thin crisp melts in your mouth, it has a peppery taste which is quite intriguing.
The colored mooncakes and piahs attracted my attention.
All purchases come with 2 free pineapple tarts. I was amazed how the aroma of the pineapple lingers though it was not sweet at all. It makes you crave for more.

This castella cake beats all that I have eaten. The soft and fluffy texture of the cake is simply irristable. Comes in three flavors. The kaya, the original and cheese. I personally love the kaya flavour. It's not too sweet. $5.80 for just a serving that is just nice fort two person.

The fish and chip is to die for! Too bad we can't find anything near in Singapore. When you bite into the fish, the crumbs are so crunchy. The fish meat is so thick. The fries are really good. They go so well with a special spice they provide. 44 bucks once a month for a fish and chip. Okay!

For $1.50 it's not too bad. The uncles working in the stall are amiable. Did not get to try the duck nor their fishballs. Give it a try if you are at dunman road. It would be better if it was warm. The chille sauce just makes the entire dish more yummy.

The charcoal toast tasted really burnt and crunchy. The chocolate that flows out of the chunky toast with a scoop of the salted caramel ice cream. I paid about $16+ for the toast. Not be going back for a second taste.

Thank you for the pretty cake! And best of all its salted caramel. A truly unique taste. A combination of sweet and salty.

One of the must eat char kway teow in Singapore. Come and try it for yourself. One man's meat is another's poison.

Soft launch and prices were on the high side. Had the meringue durian cake. Quite unique, worth trying. Spoilt for choices. The lychee rose cake taste special but only suitable for rose lovers.
