This was so yummy! The bitterness in the matcha came out very distinctly through the creamy milk, and there this slight sweetness that came from the houjicha syrup.

Doesn’t look like it’s a lot, but it’s so rich you’ll finish it feeling quite full. Was a great mid-shopping trip refreshment. Would buy this over bux any day :-)

had the condensed milk buns with butter which were very delicious. a classic dish with not much to shout about - not sure if this is something i’d rather make at home than pay for though!

buttermilk fried chicken, jalapeno cabbage slaw, sriracha mayo, white toast.

This was larger in portion than Patty Melt but not as satisfying/flavourful. Was good, but not mind-blowing enough for me to pay $16 for it again. Won’t be ordering this again!

beef patty, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, PBD sauce, pickles, rye

This was just the right amount of cheese, grease and pbd sauce. Beef was perfectly juicy and not-dry. Rye bread was buttery and toasted on the outside.

Warm, toasty and sososo nice! Better and more flavourful than Crispy Chicken imo!

ordered with burpple beyond :-)

This nondescript restaurant nestled inside a hotel’s lobby near Telok Ayer MRT serves a pretty worthwhile bowl of sashimi.

This was laden with thick slices of fresh sashimi atop furikake seasoned rice with a slight of vinegar. Came with grated wasabi and a side of miso soup. 100/100 for amazing value and quality!!!!!!

PS Typically goes for $30 (w/o taxes), but got this on a 1 for 1 deal :-)

A perfectly executed classic grilled cheese sandwich. It came hot and piping, and tasted absolutely amazing! Would buy again on an exceptionally luxurious day.

but service was bad. Was meant to come with either tomatoes, pickles, or roasted onions, but the cashier omitted to ask or clarify and the sandwich came with none. Didn’t seem apologetic when I asked too.

Pink peppercorns were meant to taste sweeter than the usual black ones - didn’t seem any different, but crab was sufficiently good. Preferred the butter-sauced version.

This bowl was surprisingly not very memorable. Think it the batter that was a slight miss because it wasn’t too crispy! Apart from that, each tempura item was good but nothing really stood out - the large prawn and vegetables sufficiently sweet, the anago (sea eel, not the usual freshwater unagi) safely yummy but meh and understated. Wouldn’t have been good without the sauce.

Had this at a bargain on a 1 for 1 offer from Jpassport!

This was so good! The waffles were different from the usual buttery kind - but good in their own right. Contrary to earlier reviews, I thought the waffles were nicely crisp and not too floury.

We really liked "It's Getting Dark" (dark chocolate) which was rich and not too sweet (at $3.50 for a single scoop, also cheaper than Real Food's own rendition), and "Passion A Go Go" (passion fruit, premium) was less impressive but sufficiently citrusy. Both were flavours I'd get again in a heartbeat.

Left feeling fresh and not too guilty. Will be back to try more!
