Though this was good, accompanied by a pool of fragrant chilli (and oily broth below), i am still a firm fan of rival Eng's, a diet of which i grew up on. Fei fei's noodles are spring and nicely al dente, but their wontons are overly salty and the fried ones simply don't match up.
Operated by the second son, the Hai Kee Soy Sauce Chicken Rice. The serving is very generous.
Highly recommend to try their ginger and spring onion sauce and the Hor Fun. Their soy sauce chicken with Hor Fun formed the ultimate combo - simply can't stop eating.

Big Breakfasts are a dime and dozen, so a little effort is always appreciated. At La Ristrettos, their "Grande Breakfast" which includes two eggs done your way, has extra touches like the special baked beans that's deliciously complex, and plump grilled mushrooms. Pretty worth it for just $14 if you ask me.
