Pig Leg Stock up on some collagen with their Signature Pig’s Leg ($12)! 🌟 Lying beneath the thick layer of gelatinous skin that shines under the light is a layer of tender meat. 🐖 Liked that it wasn’t overly strong-flavoured, which complements the Hua Diao Wine Chicken which was richer taste-wise. 👌🏻
🎶Guess what, it’s gonna be MEat~🎶 Craving for some MEATS? 🤩 The Hua Diao Wine Chicken ($8.80/$17.50 for Small/Big) here at Jia Bin Klang Bak Kut Teh is certainly droolworthy. 🤤🤤🤤 . Featuring a sizzling hot claypot filled with chunks of tender chicken thigh meat 🐔, I don’t think you can actually taste the wine but the meats were pretty aromatic! 😋 Drench your bowl of rice with the addictive savoury sauce & you’d be instantly satisfied! 💕
Circuit Breaker Day 2 - let's all be steady POM bi bi! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 By virtue of the restaurant name, it is evident that pork ribs soup is the signature at @jiabinklangbakkutteh. 🤣 However, what really won my heart ❤ out of the dishes that I savoured was this POMfret! 🐟🐟🐟 . Jia Bin seasonal steamed fish (seasonal price; ~$26 now) is cooked in 2 ways - either Hong Kong style (topped with sautéed black bean, chilli & garlic) 💕 or soya sauce style. I tried the former & really enjoyed the aromatic savoury sauce which complements the fresh fish! 😋😋😋 . Premium white pomfret (白鲳鱼) is used 🌟, & the ultimate freshness is apparent from the taste-test - no fishy smell nor taste at all! 💯 . Drench the sauce over your bowl of rice 🍚 & you might be having seconds. 🤤 . 📢PROMO📢 10% off all items with no minimum spend! 👏🏻 Jia Bin BKT also offers delivery & takeaway options 🚙 from 11am-9pm!

Weekend Lunch Buffet ($29.90) Pretty wide variety of meat available (chicken, pork, beef) with unique flavours such as curry and herbal marinated meat, in addition to the usual unmarinated, black pepper, teriyaki... Not a fan of curry but herbal is not bad. They also have processed food like crabstick, hotdog, luncheon meat, veggies, mushrooms and kimchi, different types of sauces (ssamjang, red pepper sauce, sweet thai chili, doenjang etc), cooked food (tteokbokki, chives pancake, waffles). Cooked food was not to my liking, I prefer the bbq stuff. As we used BB 1 for 1, we had to adhere to a 100 min time limit and were charged original price $29.90 + svc charge for 2 pax. Drinks was an additional $2.50 for free flow. Non-BB customers can get 20% off original price and there is no time limit. Service staff are friendly and nice. :) Total cost: $32.80 for 2 pax
lunch buffet this is a super underrated place!!! they have a huuuge variety of meats with many flavours, such as lychee, bak kwa and curry, that i don’t usually see in franchise kbbq outlets so that was an eye opener! furthermore their pork belly slices have a reallyy good ratio of fats! not only is the pork meat good, the chicken is tender while their beef is chewy and full of flavour. what’s more, they even make waffles for you upon request that you can pair with various ice creams, from chocolate, to blueberry ripple, and even green tea. the amazing thing is that with burpple beyond, i only paid about $15 so it really made my whole experience sooo worth 😭 rating: 8/10
Korean Fusion BBQ (Dunlop Street) 06/09/19 Time limit: 100min (I think this applies only to Eatigo users) Price: $18.60 (After 50% Eatigo discount and 10% Service Charge) Note: No GST charge at this buffet A small obscure restaurant located on the second floor of a shophouse along Dunlop Street. They had quite a wide variety of marinades for the pork belly as well as a variety of different types of meat and meat cuts. In addition to the meats were the vegetables and pineapple (Probably canned) and watermelon. There was a waffle, ice cream and cooked food station as well. On top of that, they provide free-flow drinks for an additional $2.50 nett. Otherwise, you're strongly recommended to bring your own water. While there was a decent variety of meats, I wouldn't come back again, even with the 50% discount as none of the meats were high quality and none of the marinades stood out in particular apart from perhaps, the herbal pork belly. Price: 8/10 (This is after the 50% discount) Taste: 5.5/10 Ambience: 4/10 Overall: 5.5/10 (Would not be over 5 without the 50% discount) More pictures at: Full review at:

Dim Sum Haus is located at 57 Jalan Besar, and is easily one of my favourite dim sum restaurant in Singapore with their range of quality dim sums at affordable pricing! Some of my favourites and must try items are the Baked Salted Egg Custard Bun, Steamed Charcoal Chicken & Shrimp Dumpling, Japanese Dumpling, Fried Carrot Cake with X.O. Sauce and the Watercress Honey Ice Jelly! That said, you can now enjoy dim sum at the comfort of your own home during this circuit breaker period with their islandwide delivery service! Check out for more info.
Good and affordable dimsum, limited Beyond usage We accidentally ran into Dim Sum Haus on the way to another dim sum place and found it a luck. We ordered prawn dumplings, Japanese dumplings and crispy carrot cakes. Both the prawn dumplings and carrot cakes tasted wonderful, and the latter was really crispy on the outside. Japanese dumplings were a let down as the vinegar sauce was too sweet. Moreover, Burrple did not mention that two people could only use one 1-for-1 deal, letting us order less than we would want to. It’s still a good dimsum place for friends. Burpple should warn users about the limited deal usage.
Dim Sum - Charcoal Chicken and Shrimp Siew Mai - This was not bad. Had quite a generous amount of meat and the roe on top added some flavour. - Xiao Long Bao was alright, nothing too special - Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun was good. Again, they were generous with the meat fillings, the flour was soft and nice to chew on. Would be back, the overall quality of dimsum was good, but it's still rather pricey even with Burpple Beyond voucher claimed
