Last customer of the day! Phew! A long overdue and no-fuss dinner with a long time friend @shook_wai
This stall is located in a coffeeshop that I couldnât have been more familiar with, offers affordable and hearty dishes. We got greedy and ordered a selection of dishes including their flame-grilled steak, succulent sausages and slightly char beef patty burger.

Nice Irish Pub situated in the most unassuming place. The dark wood interior makes me feel like I was transported back to Ireland. A really warm & cozy place to spend Christmas Eve.
Highly recommend the Poetâs Burger. A nice simple burger filled with thick & juicy beef patty, paired with Mayo, some lettuce, tomatoes and topped with fried onions to give that extra crunch and sweetness. Nothing fancy but well balanced.
Ordered the Irish Car Bomb [$23] (Three quarter Guinness pint with a shot of Jameson and Baileys) but felt that the taste of the Guinness overpowered everything else.
Nonetheless, great experience and would definitely come back again. (PS: Thereâs no Service charge & GST đ)
After witnessing it make its rounds on Instagram and so many foodies raving positive reviews about it, I am glad that I can finally understand (and tasted) why this bowl of Signature Bee Tai Mak is worth my traveling time from the East to the West. On the first glance, it might look simple and plain, but you will be proven otherwise from the first bite. Without any chilli sauce or vinegar added into it, this bowl of bee tai mak packs so much flavour from their secret blend of sauce and pork lard that it can knock out a boxer in the first round. Throw in some chilli padi if you can take the heat, give it a good mix and savour the multiple layers of flavour and texture from the bite of the bee tai mak to the bouncy fishball, fish roll and fish ârulersâ. This is definitely a bowl that will be part of my memorable eatsâ list and a place that I will highly recommend you come try.
Another gem is the mee pok, and this particular type of noodle is something that I will usually avoid ordering as I am not a huge fan of its flavour and texture, however, the mee pok that was prepared here still retained an al dente texture without the alkaline flavour.

The food dishes were unique tasting. Really like the squid pasta, with white wine. According to the restaurant owner, Jermine, it was crafted and hand made for most stuff. Really good ambience too. Recommend it to give it a shot!
The manager called this âladyâs killerâ cos apparently all the girls really love it. The smell of this was SOOOO AMAZING! The manager also explained how the different ingredients were freshly sourced and made, like the fennel and pizza sauce. The flavours were super interesting - there were notes of citrus almost? I preferred the other pizza flavours but this was still a very interesting try!
