Matcha Blueberry Donut Finally tried to get their donut so long 👀 bc I just passby food fair @ taka and also they got booth at there. I saw that they sell a variety of different flavour for donut but not much left as I went around after work. So my mum felt that their donut texture similar to bread texture but its slightly dry and a bit hard to cut thru. For matcha filling, I felt that it's not much bitter and blended towards sweet texture and a bit blueberry aftertaste.

Melbourne cookie - Looked similar to the ones from Folks and Stories, chewy and chunky! - Roasted hazelnuts gave a crunch to the ooey gooey texture with caramelised burnt honey in the cookie mix, with an acidic fruity undertone of dark chocolate. - Loved how full-bodied it was ✨

Chocolate hazelnut passionfruit lava tart - Wasn’t as oozy as I’d expected but the sweet chocolate was well-balanced by citrusy passionfruit and nutty hazelnut praline at the bottom 🍫 - Hazelnut cookie shell was super buttery and the crisp crumbly texture contrasted well with the creamy filling!

Mushroom risotto Absolutely loved this.

Pizza Can’t really recall what pizza this was, but it was the thin crust kind, which I really like. Wished it could have been a bigger portion for their price though.

Seafood pizza Seafood pizza was decent. However, I believe that the establishment have changed and the seafood pizza no longer has a scallop on each slice, and has been replaced with clams instead. Rating 6.3/10

Sunchoke While still uncommon, it's been in vogue for a while now to use vegetables in ice cream. The flavour on this one's subtle, with the nutty sweetness of the root vegetable barely registering. What it is though, is well-executed ice cream, spiked with fermented strawberry gel and sandwiched between Salted & Hung's signature honeycomb burnt butter tuille and a dark chocolate cracker. - Taste: 3.5/5

El Toro Orchard Inspired by childhood memories of his family's farm back home in Australia, this dessert from chef Drew sees lacto-fermented apple brunois and crumble garnishing a sharply refreshing ginger & apple sorbet, which in turn sat atop a beautifully pearly white sphere of ginger semifreddo. I loved the palate cleansing combination of fresh fruit and iced confectionery, but found the semifreddo a little powdery and dry. - Taste: 3/5

Beef Cheek Probably the most straightforward of courses during our lunch so far, but no less delicious for it. Stupendously good Wagyu beef cheek that literally melts in your mouth, its meaty unctuousness lavished in savoury jus. Alongside it, a disc of creamy salt baked potato blanketed in vinegar cream and a dollop of caviar. There was also a refined yet punchy garlic puree to accompany the beef. A more luxurious steak and potatoes I have not had in recent memory. - Taste: 4.5/5

Pizza Galore Philly Cheese Steak Pizza: 3.5⭐️ / 5 Redeemed my 1-for-1 specialty pizza here. The Philly cheesesteak pizza was great! However, the meat lover pizza (2⭐️ / 5) was just average & was on the dry side. But will definitely be back for a quick pizza fix nonetheless!

Pasta Enjoyed the carbonara, rich, creamy and cheesy. Sauce sticks to the pasta well. Chicken pieces didnt taste that great.

Mushroom Aglio Olio 1⭐️/5 Applicable for burpple 1-for-1 [$12.90 including GST] Chosen Aglio Olio with spaghetti. The pasta is topped with mushroom, garlic and chilli flakes. The pasta tasted dry and very spicy. The mushroom does not match well with the pasta. I would recommend the pizza instead.

1kg Pain Au Chocolat Ginormous pain au chocolat, largest I’ve ever seen!

starter lah 3 cheese ($19) + housemade jam ($1) this looked soooo decadent but the cheese hardened real quick and it’s honestly really pricey. the rosemary sourdough tasted really good though they can go easy on the toasting of the crust it’s so hard pls I needed a SAW. the jam top up was worth it because it made the sandwich less plain!

honeyed mascarpone ($14) idk how mascarpone is supposed to taste but it’s light and like...butter? like buttery AF. omg so creamy and with the honey so sweet and crushed walnuts against that creaminess ooo yumyum might actl come back for this. i also like that they added sea salt so the sweetness wouldnt be overwhelming

Basque burnt 9nett Must try Molten even when cold, the creaminess and flavour were both good. Rightly, the cheese wasn't too sweet, and they balance it out with a glaze on top. Textbook apart from the glaze, which puts them over the top. The best I've had in recent memory Location ulu tho, abit painful to walk under the sun at noon

Lowef Cheese Burger ($20) add-on of bacon ($3.50) and my friend choose coleslaw.

Portobello Burger ($18) with add-on smoked salmon ($3.50) but the menu for their lunch is quite limited tbh. I kinda disappointed tbh for the limited choice. But their burger is not that bad tbh and the sauce was quite nice also. So the smoked salmon was quite not that smelly and also their cheese for mushroom was quite juicy and savoury. Their side dish can be choose between picky cucumber and also coleslaw.

ricotta hotcake ($26) Only available during the weekend! Eggy & fluffy inside with crispy edges🥞 Then, you get a different chewy texture when mixed with the ice cream, which had such a strong vanilla bean flavour 😋🍨

Dark chocolate & pecan hazelnut souffle pancake S$21.90 Soft and fluffy souffle with very generous amount of sauce and condiments. Very satisfying.

Most Instagrammable Cafe The term "Instagrammable Cafe" almost feels like a backhanded compliment, where it may be implied that the food quality can't match up to its aesthetics. Cafe De Nicole's Flower managed to dispel any of that notion by serving pretty food that taste pretty decent in a pretty setting. The Souffle Pancake was egg-cellent. It was eggy and fluffy and in my opinion one of the best souffle pancake around! They also serve an interesting menu of drinks, including the Uji Matcha and Sweet Potato Latte which i thought was pretty nice. The soy milk really brought the best out of the sweet potato and bitter matcha notes. For the others, i would rate the smoked salmon croissant as above average and the tart as below average. Mentaiko Mac & Cheese Came here for the mentaiko Mac & cheese and it delivered. The Jamaican Chicken, Steak Frites and salted caramel bana waffle were great too. Free bread with butter and olive oil. Go for night menu

Corn fritters Poached eggs, grilled halloumi, spinach, tomato salsa, hummus, hollandaise. Okok, Abit oily, they have other better dishes.

Iberian Pork Rack Pork Rack, grilled baby cos, kipfler potato, bone marrow sauce. Meat is super soft, goes well with their sauce as well. Not salty.
