Awarded with a Bib Gourmand from the Singapore Michelin Guide, I loved how the restaurant was located in a well lit alley way in Geylang - much atmosphere and very affordable seafood - around $37 a person for two crabs, clams, salted egg prawn, noodles and tofu. The White Pepper Crab was a stand out - do not miss!

A healthy lunch that wasn't overly filling. The regular Poke bowl (100g of salmon) starts at $12.50 and you can select the regular ingredients for free, or add on $1 or $2 per ingredient for the "premium" range which consists of exciting things like kale chips or pomegranate seeds to get your poke bowl looking extra fine!

A truly unique space located along Beach Room for fans of the colour pink. The art deco style tearoom has a tips only concept, so you pay what you feel your drink was worth. The Piña Colada + Ginger cold brew tea came with a pairing of dark chocolate in a delightfully on trend shade of pink. Heads up though: this space is only open on weekdays!

While the fancy interiors look daunting at first, the lunch set was surprisingly affordable at $9.80 for two "Baos" (pictured) and a drink. You can select between several flavours of baos from the braised pork to salted egg yolk prawn, and at the end of a meal you even get your own fortune cookie!

Since discovering UberEats now delivers to my house (around Buona Vista), I've ordered the Aloha Poke from Rollie Ollie twice consecutively because I love how healthy and refreshing it is. The ingredient portions are generous, and as not a big rice eater, the serving is perfect for me. Filled with salmon, tuna, avocado, flying fish roe, alfafa and cucumber, I almost always wipe the bowl clean and feel great after, especially when on a rush.

With skewers starting at $1.20 per stick, it's great fun for big groups because of the excitement of trying different food items. Came at 630pm on a weekday and there was no queue, and despite ordering a ton + beer, each person cost around $20-$25!

Although it's located in Hillview, Italian Osteria was packed despite it being a weekday night. Funnily, the one thing that stood out was how aromatic the olive oil was, and true to Italian cooking, everything waa drenched in this tasty tasty stuff. Also, even non-bread eating people like myself swooned over their loafs, baked in-house - so good we bought some back home!

This box left me feeling fresh and wanting more! Located at Fusionopolis, the sashimi comes in 6 refreshing sauces, but my favourite was the Tangy Thai, though notable mentions were the Garlic Shoyu. Sides were unique as well with the choice of japanese mushrooms, corn or edamame; and rice choices were white or brown. Best part - the boxes start from $7.90!!!

Came at 230pm after their kitchen had closed but fortunately they had a small bar bites menu which was actually very substantial - phew! Fish tacos were crunchy with just a bit of spice 👍🏻 Also would recommend the grilled cheese sandwich which my friend got!

The line looks daunting, but having eaten here repeatedly as I live around the area, I have never waited longer than 30 minutes. Sometimes I even luck out and the store is still open at 3pm, but from experience i would say come during lunch time to avoid being disappointed! (They're not open at night)

Not my first time here and definitely not my last. We came around 4pm, and surprisingly the shop was still open and serving food! You can pick and choose your combinations between prawn, pork or a mix of prawn and pork - and lime juice is the perfect partner drink to have along with it.
