Nothing too spectacular about the carbonara but baby loves it. Cafe mocha's really pretty!
This noodles is part of the Robata lunch set. It's Kyoto-style Herring fish soba. The fish's sweet, and I kinda like it when paired with this light soba noodles in clear broth.
It's like drinking a cup of coffee with ice-cream inside haha!
The "green balls" are matcha flavour white chocolate which is a little too sweet for me.
The dark brown sticks are dark chocolate sticks with hints of orange peel which i thought was refreshing and good 👍
Served hot and fried to perfection, the batter is light and chicken remains tender. It's good, but not extraordinary.
All in all, we are fairly disappointed with the food because we have had such high hopes here. We feel Sumiya's lunch deals beat these 🙊🙊 Oh well, we shall try other restaurants another day.
This weekend's a tad more exciting as we will be in KL. Hope "trumpet" brings us to some yummy food place!
This was Monday's lunch affair with aunt, mummy and sis. We tried the Robata lunch set (SGD68++) this time round.
Starter is served. Organic mixed green salad with sesame sauce, it's nice.
Thinking of my comforting bowl of prawn omelette bimbimbak for yesterday's lunch.
This is one of the items for the mall's FoodFeast SGD9.90++ promotion.
I love the fact that they serve with Kimgaru brown rice, and love the flavours of this comforting bowl when everything is mixed well together 👍👍
I bought the set which includes the salted egg burger + twister shaker fries with salt and black pepper + banana pie + drink (SGD9.10). The chicken thigh meat is really tender, and I love it. But the salted egg sauce is sweet. So strange.
Shaker fries with salt and black pepper is yummy though salty. Banana pie is much love too, as it tastes pretty similar to Goreng Pisang.
So I think it's worth a try for its sides more than its burger 🙊🙊
I also get to choose my level of spiciness here which is good for me whom doesn't take to spicy well.
Love the flavoring of the chicken and egg is half-cooked with a soft yolk centre which I love! It's good 👍👍
Because I wanted to try this after hearing so much raves.
I chose Yasai (SGD16) which consisted of salmon poke mixed with soy sauce and ponzu sauce, with balsamic tomatoes, mixed sultanas and onsen egg. I topped up with Ninja rice (SGD2) which is a blend of vinegared Japanese pearl rice and brown rice with seaweed flakes.
I love this! Such a beautifully plated dish which is yummy and healthy! 😋😋
Thinking of my pretty breakfast I had yesterday morning.
Fruit roll (SGD4.70) from Chateraise. Soft cream roll, with chunks of fresh fruits. I particularly love the huge chunks of peach! Yummlicious! 😋😋
From our fave Japanese Patisserie @ Isetan (Westgate). We almost always get cakes from there whenever we are there 🙈🙈 This new try is chocolate cake (SGD4.70) which is actually quite a small slice, smaller than the usual, but it's really yummy! It's a fluffy soft ,moist moose like chocolate cake😋😋
