It's less crowded at 730pm onwards haha!
But because we were so full from dinner, I only had this coconut ice-cream (SGD4) which left me disappointed as there wasn't any coconut taste to it :( My fave Wimi is much better.
The rice rolls are thin and freshly made, but I didn't quite like the asparagus in it though.
All the 5 individual pieces are really exquisite and each piece is "upgraded" with premium ingredients like abalone, black truffle etc. 👍👍
They are yummy but we are quite surprised that they came in such small pieces. (Bottom): Baked mini egg tarts with bird's nest (炬燕窝蛋挞)(HKD78 = SGD14.50 / 3 pieces). I really love these mini indulgence!
It comes topped with gold leaf (金箔笋尖虾饺)🙈🙈 (HKD66 = SGD12 / 4 pieces). The prawns are huge and fresh, and the "gold leaf" is aesthetically pleasing and adds a luxurious feel to the dish.
Can't remember the exact name of this veggie, but the sauce's really addictive and goes really well with the soft veggie.
We ordered an aburi sushi platter consisting of 10 pieces (HKD160 = SGD29) and a few ala-carte aburi sushi of salmon and scallop.
They were really fresh and delicious, but we thought they should have asked if we wanted wasabi in them. We don't mind a little wasabi but some pieces do come with quite abit of wasabi though.
I actually love this soup because it doesn't reek of beef's flavour. Lol. But obviously a miss for baby, being a beef lover. Haha!
The prawn is fried till golden brown and crispy, and tasted really good when enveloped with warm Japanese rice in a sushi.
Sen-Ryo is renowned for its kaiten sushi, and it's fish and seafood comes directly from Tsukiji seafood market of Japan. This probably explains the higher price of the food in this restaurant.
First up, clams cooked in butter and sake (HKD64 = SGD12) was served. We were surprised that it came over a fire stove, but they were really delicious with its warm clams soaked in flavourful clear soup.
(Time check was 10pm). Shortcake Surprise (SGD17.90++) which consists of wild strawberry and vanilla gelato on a bed of cheesecake crumble, topped with berries and drizzled with chocolate and raspberry sauce.
The gelato was quite good, but at SGD17.90, it's really expensive for 2 scoops of gelato with a little crumbs. Think majority of the cost goes into plating this dish to fit the kitty theme.
