The kitty-shaped waffle was hard and dry, but the square-shaped waffle was fluffy soft. Scrambled eggs and shiitake mushrooms were decent, but the smoked duck slices was a miss. What I love most about this dish is the unique honey lime maple syrup which makes for a refreshing dish.

New dish recommendation - banana scallop fried with yam. Unique dish which tasted somewhat like a mini yam ball. It's served one each, and costs SGD4 for one.

We went to CentrePoint, wanting to try authentic HK food at Honolulu and its famous egg tarts. However upon reaching, we saw a really long queue and decided to settle for the western restaurant next to it.
Coincidentally, it was also the restaurant's first day of opening as we were told by the boss.
Ollie's Club (S$13.90++) which consists of homemade egg mayo, cucumber, tomato, romaine lettuce, red cheddar cheese and smoked chicken within 3 toasted bread slices. I really love how the egg mayo blend with all the flavours in the bread, really yummy! We agreed that it's one of the best club sandwich we have eaten for a while. 👍👍

Been reading up on recommended food places in HK and I am getting excited for next week's trip!
This was last Saturday's local breakfast. My first time trying Chinese rojak (S$6), and I actually like this better than the traditional Indian rojak because it feels less oily and lighter.
Then I came to know that it's because Chinese Indian rojak is fried in vegetable oil whilst Indian rojak is fried in ghee.
I also kinda like the sweet Thai Chilli-like sauce dip.

Mine is the standard aburi sushi set, which includes 2 spicy pieces which I didn't quite like. But the rest were really yummy!
His is all salmon aburi, which came in 5 pieces + 1 piece of egg. Nice!

Because baby wanted to have something good, we are back here again for their aburi sushi!
Part of my Rainbow Sashimi Set (S$38.60++). The thick cut sashimi's really fresh! It comes with Japanese seaweed, which are the dark green and the pink coloured ones. The pink coloured ones tasted like strawberry haha! I was told they even sell it as a whole plate of dish itself.
