We came down on a weekday for the $38 omakase and it does not disappoint! Pictured isn't everything in the omakase and it was a treat to watch the chefs skillfully prepare each course. Aside from super fresh fish, there was creative preparations, from yuzu rind shaved on top to soya sauce foam. Very value for money too. They do have lunch specials too which I'll definitely come back another day to try! Remember to make reservations if you're getting the omakase.

Had to find my way here after hearing so many raves about this place. Decided to mix both the current special flavor (milk) and matcha. It was good together but the matcha alone was a little too bitter for my taste. Would go great with some sweet toppings or syrup drizzled! Generally a bit pricey too but a lovely treat for the taste buds!

Came here on a busy weekday lunch hour. Was undecided so just went for the longest queue, was not a mistake! A hearty meal with fragrant rice with just the right amount of gravy, and love the variety of dishes available under one stall. Tender duck, peppery pig organ soup and a simple stir fried cabbage dish makes for a complete meal! Good to eat once in a while.

Addictive food at pocket friendly prices! This is a oldie but a goldie, was disappointed at the Far East Plaza branch the last time we had this so we opted for lunch at this newer branch since we were in the area. Aimed for $70 to get 15% off with UOB cards, and boy was it hard to hit that amount with 3 people, in the end we ordered a bit too much but the food was up to standard this time. I'm glad we gave it another try.

Decided to give this place a try after seeing it on burpples top 100 list, and it's a nice little cafe with interesting menu choices. Weekday lunch gives you a main plus any drink for $20 so it's quite value for money. However our choices was hit and miss, the mentaiko pasta was waaay too salty and over-creamy, but generous with prawns, would not order again. The Hainanese Chicken Risotto was lovely comfort food with very generous amount of tender chicken. Also had the wintermelon soft serve which was lovely and refreshing. Would definitely pop by to try the other mains next time! #BurpplexChope

Dropped by and wasn't hungry so we just grabbed a couple of desserts, was pretty crowded on a hot Sunday afternoon, the pavlova was $8 and though it was light and crumbly the balance wasn't there, stingy on the fruit, it was all sweet and not enough sour/fruit to balance it out. Was hard for 2-3 of us to finish that one. The chocolate cake was not bad but not fantastic. Perhaps we picked the wrong pastries, and would have to give the savory food a try another time!

Tried this place after hearing raves about this place, the flavours were all so intriguing and sampled a few before settling on a simple mango sorbet ($4.70). The other flavours? I felt was really interesting to taste but I don't think I could do a whole scoop of some of them! The mango on the other hand, was perfectly not too sweet and refreshing. Definitely worth a taste if you're in the area!

First time trying this out, was surprised at how much gravy came with these noodles at first and was expecting it to be so spicy. (It was perfectly mildly spicy) Boy was this noodles so so good! The noodles were springy and well coated with the gravy, and the lean char siew a perfect accompaniment to the rich sauce. The wantons were lovely too. Definitely worth queuing up for! Will be back.

First time trying out this bakery but only for tea. Settled on the lemon tart, and it did not disappoint! Light enough that I could finish it by myself and not too sweet. Had a macchiato as well. Will be back to try the savory goods one day!

You'll definitely take some time to pick which tart to try when you're here. Settled on cherry (seasonal tart) and hojicha. The cherry was very refreshing while the hojicha had a very rich and fragrant taste. Loved both, but the hojicha was definitely more unique. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

We didn't have a full meal here, just a couple of bites of my dining companion's cheesesteak sandwich. It was perfectly flavoured, not overly cheesy, and leaves you wanting more. Lovely welcoming atmosphere too, definitely relaxing if you come outside the usual office peak hours. Will definitely be back to try the other sandwich flavours or takeaway if I'm in the area again!

The main draw here is definitely the beer buffet ($35 for 2 hours) of their craft beer with unique offerings like root beer and seasonal cranberry beer. We tried a variety of the sides and the pork chops, and nothing stood out particularly. Wasn't a fan of the pork chops, the salted egg yolk wings, clams and fried pork were not too bad, and the luncheon fries was so so. In such an obscure place, I would only recommend for the unique craft beer offerings, the food is interesting but don't leave me craving more.
