𝗠𝗦𝟵 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝘆𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 ($𝟯𝟵) This dish promised top grade MS9 Wagyu beef which was braised in a red wine demi-glace sauce. Interestingly, this was served with only one sheet of pasta. Called a ‘lasagnotte’, the massive pasta sheet was cooked al dente. . Now the Wagyu beef was tender and deliciously fattier compared to the beef in their beef ragu with its flavours well infused into the sauce. The assorted mushrooms that were stewed in the sauce added a firm bite, texture, and umami that we enjoyed! The lasagnotte is a huge sheet and we wish there was more sauce to coat it. Some might find the texture as unvarying throughout the meal, so it may be a good idea to get this and a different pasta type to share ☺️

Tiger Prawn Dumpling ($13) We couldn’t decide between the dumplings and croquettes and followed the staff’s recommendation to get this! Reminiscent of a 红油抄手 (dumplings in chilli oil), the spicy vinegary sauce was very appetising. The dumpling itself was simple, a tiger prawn wrapped in thin skin, a good pairing with its sauce.

Iced Mint Mocha Iced Mint Mocha at Tolido's Espresso Nook is a refreshing masterpiece! The perfect balance of rich espresso, velvety milk, and invigorating mint flavours creates a delightful summer treat. Visually stunning, with mint leaves and chocolate powder, making it Instagram-worthy.

Pumpkin spice latte Seriously can't take any pumpkin spice at all. There's a little bit of nutmeg on top. They took our feedback and made us another cup. Very nice but honestly both taste exactly the same lol no pumpkin spice

Brownie Blackout brownies are all good, this one is abit too sticky-dense and outside isn't the most crispy, so not top tier. But still enjoyable

Biggest con job The Burpple offer was for a set meal for 2 at $98 plus taxes. Offer was to take $40 off. The meal shoved you with too much food so as to justify the price, and when the bill came it was $116+after the Burpple voucher and taxes. Who needs so much food for lunch except for the outlet to force sell you as much food as possible? And you could not even have a 3rd person join in coz they said the Burpple offer or the restaurant disallows it. Please NEVER go there. Don't be scammed like me.

Babi Assam ($19.90) The restaurant’s signature pork belly simmered in an aromatic tamarind stew, served with tau kwa and chillies. A very flavourful dish with the spices really shining through. The pork belly was super fatty (more fats than meat honestly, and whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you), it literally melts in your mouth. Burpple Beyond also has a set meal deal here - we didn’t use it this time as we decided to order ala carte.

Mushroom risotto Absolutely loved this.

Pizza Can’t really recall what pizza this was, but it was the thin crust kind, which I really like. Wished it could have been a bigger portion for their price though.

Seafood pizza Seafood pizza was decent. However, I believe that the establishment have changed and the seafood pizza no longer has a scallop on each slice, and has been replaced with clams instead. Rating 6.3/10

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Gotthard There wasn’t many rosti specialised restaurants in Singapore, and Wursthans Switzerland at PLQ Mall would definitely be one of them. Their rosti jumbo availabile with few options for the topping of items. For Gotthard like mine, it comes with smoked pork cervelat, fried egg and caramelised onion. Their rosti is really tasty. Love the pork sausage that’s so tender and juicy. If you want more adventurous, go with the DIY menu and pick what you want to add to complete your meal.

Rosti Specialist Rösti shop dishing out generous portions of thick, shredded potato lightly crisp on the outside with soft lightly buttery interior. DIY your own with 1 main, 2 sides, and a sauce. They’ve released two unique local-inspired combinations - 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 and 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐲! The former had a flavourful mix of spices with a cheesy finish. Personally preferred the thick and succulent chargrilled chicken satay with the nutty peanut sauce and smoky finish. We added on an original Swiss Veal Bratwurst ($9.90) which was thick, juicy, and satisfying.

Bravery Chicken Ragu Bravery Chicken Ragu ($18) features a piece of herbed chicken thigh on top of al dente spaghetti tossed with mushroom and roasted vegetables in creamy ragout sauce. The chicken is tender and moist, while the sauce is creamy but not too heavy. Cream pasta is not usually my first choice of pasta but this was enjoyable. The portion is very generous as well. Yums!

Lavender Latte ($6) Your typical latte but with the fragrance of lavender. Coffee was standard but the lavender made it quite unique - it was an interesting coming together of the aromas. The dried lavender bits can be quite strong so you may want to avoid actually chewing into them if you’re not a fan of strong aromas. I wouldn’t get this again but it was interesting to try. Visited on an afternoon of a Public Holiday and the cafe was not too busy, had some seats available for my friend and I. Staff were friendly.

Worth it with Burpple ! The mains were quite filling with both Dons and Soba/Udon, also includes a drink and dessert (mochi or ice cream!!) P.s. Recommend the mochi!!

Beef Bowl With Hot Udon [$16.90++] The hot udon is nothing special (maybe except the small ginger that you can add insidd the udon for a more unique taste) and it's a pretty small bowl but the highlight of this whole tray is definitely the beef bowl. The rice is sweet and beef is flavourful. The beef is thinly sliced and tender. It's funny when they are actually more well known for their udon 😂 but you know what? UDON tell me what to like or dislike. Psst, the staff working here are really friendly.

Chicken Katsu Don And Cold Udon Set Decent food at an affordable price with burpple beyond. Love the cold udon! The dipping sauce was not too salty yet delicious

Duck Confit Tagliatelle ($28) I decided to use burpple 1 for 1 voucher for trying their pasta (mains). I finally trying their best selling pasta after a long time. But I felt that their pasta was a bit thick as hard to chew thru. Duck confit was quite tender and not that hard. But fried hazelnut reminded me of Ferrero Rocher enhance the pasta's taste.

Breaded Oyster ($15) The oyster was freshly made fried on the spot when the customer order. I felt that the oyster got too much for batters, still juicy, crunchy and crispy texture for first try.

Chicken Parmigiana ($27) My sister felt that it was quite overwhelming for tomato sauce tbh. But then breaded chicken cutlet got too much batter inside lol.
