We had the sea salt chicken leg wrapped with rosemary and was surprised at how juicy and tender it was. The main came with grilled tomatoes, sweet potato patty on the side and a bed of spinach salad too!

Their taro latte (non-coffee) is to die for! Loving the sweet layer of taro at the bottom of the glass and how we drink it separate from the fresh milk because mixing it would dilute the taro taste 😂 Their desserts are also really good with Chocolate Obsession being our favourite. Dark chocolate cream followed by sponge and then a layer of crunch at the bottom to complete the slice of cake 🍫

Known for their in-house products, only Great World City’s outlet has this new line of jams that’s made from more premium ingredients along with the arrays of instant noodles. At the Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza in GWC, they have atas Japanese versions of fruit ice bars and ice cream popsicles as well as Milk Ice Cream and Dorayaki. Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza also hosts the first and only authentic Sapporo Nishiyama store in Singapore that serves various versions of ramen (miso, shoyu, shio).

We ordered the non wagyu version which comes with chawanmushi, miso soup and soft boiled egg to be mixed with the rice. The beef was cooked to medium rare in front of us and the sukiyaki sauce was just right with a hint of sweetness to enhance the flavors of the beef. There was also this big piece of tofu hidden under the mountain of thinly sliced beef, talk about a full lunch 😍
