Mr Bean This is a very interesting drink and is pretty nice. It tastes like lao ban with a alcoholic kick.

1 for 1? Don’t bother. It’s a scam. upon entering the shop, we have told the waiters that we would like to use the burpple deals and they said okay. They took down our orders and confirmed again that we were using burpple. (did not inform us that we need to order IDENTICAL drinks) fast forward, when we were about to pay, we saw that they did not cross out the other drinks and then the waiter said we are not allowed to use burpple as we did not order the same drink. the waiter insisted we ordered another same drink so we can get that for free. we weren’t told about the identical drinks rule and the fact that we have told them we were using burpple twice, we do not want to force ourselves to have another drink. The waiter have no choice and proceeded to get us another rectified bill. we were yet shocked again as they did not write off the one drink, but instead they just charge a 50% off on one drink and we still pay the full price for the second drink. we disputed again and the waiter said this is how their system works. there is nothing they could do or change anything. (literally repeat this is how their system works) The experience of this was horrid and upsetting. we have claimed many burpple deals and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. Now, there are many cocktails bar in Singapore, if you want to advertise your drinks in burpple and encourage ppl to return again, then please stick with the burpple rules! if you’re confident that you do not need to advertise, then save us burrple users some troubles too! after all, all the signatures they have ain’t so “signatures” and the prices for cocktails are about the same all around. is it worth it? NO is it worth the trouble and to endure the dismissive and rude attitude? NO like one of the user’s comment- even if it’s free, i’ll never patronize this store ever again. I would rather pay full or more expensive price elsewhere with better ambience, better drinks and definitely BETTER SERVICE.

Rigid, limited redemptions. Nice ambience but 3 pax can only redeem 1 Beyond deal instead of 2 deals. Restrictive. We could have ordered more than 3 cups in total, but we didn't coz of this restriction. Concluded they aren't very smart in making more money then. Do note that the signature cocktail has to be the same item. Service was good. No happy hour deals hence will find somewhere else next time.

Amuse Bouche (one per person) The best thing about this place is the location and the view. Maybe it’s not fair to judge a restaurant just by referring to the Valentine’s Day set menu ($178++ for non-front row tables) and dining experience, but based on that, it doesn’t rank among the top 15 Italians in Singapore. Portions are Lilliputian, none of the dishes is a wow, and the dessert is too dry. The menu said “lobster risotto”, but it’s really crayfish!!?! I remained hungry and was tempted by the idea of buying French fries at OverEasy downstairs. Service is not terribly proactive - one must ask for water refills several times during the meal. After opening the wine, the waiter asked “would you like to test, or should I just pour?” In a restaurant of this calibre, you don’t ask this kind of question - more training is called for! Cheaper restaurants would present a flower to lady guests, but not here! Forlino is a case of marble pricing but linoleum food and service. Chef Osvaldo Forlino’s No Menu restaurant is not great, but better than Forlino! Shame!

Dinner in the Dark ($88++ for 12 tasting dishes). I thoroughly enjoyed my first dinner experience at NOX, even though they've been around since 2013. It was an emotive dinner experience, as I went through excitement and anxiety, followed by plenty of mystery and fun as I got used to the darkness. 🔸 The loss of vision is said to heighten your sense of taste, though I'm not exactly sure of that, as it could be attributed to the use of stronger flavours and more premium ingredients. However, what is certain is that I heard every word my dining companions said over dinner (yes, no distractions due to mobile phones or checking out of cute people across the table!). Good place for bonding. 🔸 Even if you've been here before, you could consider checking it out again as they have a new Head Chef Shahrom, as well as locally inspired cocktails and mystery drink tasting experiences by Head Bartender Hussien. 🔸 Dinner menu changes monthly, but should always consist of 3 courses with 4 tasting dishes per course (4 appetizer, 4 mains, and 4 desserts). For an additional $50++ per person, you can opt for their newly launched mystery cocktail tasting experience featuring three libations; or $40++ for three wines to pair with the dinner. 🔸 Pictured is my pre-dinner cocktail - Raspberry Dance ($20++) with Vodka, Peach Liqueur, Egg White, Lemon and Raspberries. A sweet and refreshing drink to get you in the mood first :) 🔸 🔸 [Hosted]

Unique Experience Have u ever tried dining in complete darkness? Now I can say I have. As one of your senses is made redundant, your taste buds senses become more sensitive. The food we had was very flavourful, we had a fun time trying to identify the food we had at the end of dinner. Very very expensive though Great experience, but I may not return again due to the price of this place. Total damage for two(with cocktail package):$340(after gst)

For a Dining Adventure in the Dark Apart from the fact that eating in complete darkness is a unique dining experience we recommend trying at least once in your life, NOX also supports and provides employment to visually impaired individuals, all of whom have been trained to guide and serve — which they do with utmost professionalism! Like NOX aptly writes on its website, "it is a truly human experience when the roles are reversed and the blind become your eyes". The meal begins with a cocktail in the warmly lit romantic lounge (this place is perfect for a cheeky date night!), after which the prix fixe dinner ($88 per person) is a mystery menu consisting of 12 dishes set over three courses. Trust us — it is perfectly okay to dig in with your hands. You can choose to add on wine pairing (from $30 for two glasses) and request for a vegetarian or vegan menu. Bring your sense of fun and adventure. Reservations highly recommended. Price: $88 per person Photo by Burppler Rachael Wong

Leberkäse German meatloaf that...tasted very much like American SPAM/ Asian luncheon meat. Slightly underwhelming as I’d expected pure minced meat blend and more solid “bite” to the meat loaf. That aside, it was rather flavourful (tho a tad salty and oily). I love how the restaurant allows flexibility for diners to swap their sides. Instead of potato salad, I got my favourite spatzle! As a result, this meal was kinda like Hong Kong - style brekky of noodles, luncheon and egg if you ask me!

Nürnberg sausages The boy missed the charcoal-grilled sausages we had in Germany. By comparison, it’s no where near from the best we’ve had, in our opinion. But objectively, these lil’ rolls were flavourful on their own! For sides, we went for sauerkraut and knödel, the german potato dumpling. The knödel here actually tasted way better than the ones we had in Germany (served plain). This, however, came mixed with some veggies kneaded into a dough ball and flavoured with other secret German-y seasoning. Be sure to order some 🍻 to go hand-in-hand!

Cordon Bleu (with Burpple Beyond!) Ordering was a breeze here, with highly attentive staff. My friend and I both got cordon bleu, an apple-gin concoction and a lychee martini. Drinks were pretty mild, but a great, sweet way to start the night. Food came hot and fresh; it tasted great with mustard. Unfortunately the pork was too dry, and the food felt very repetitive overtime with the constant chewing (cause too tough) and small amount of greens. Plus point would be the oozey cheese. I wouldn’t order this again though. Total bill with Burpple Beyond for 2 drinks and 2 meals came up to $77.

Get a lobster🦞 roll instead for the same price at... By the folks behind @strangersreu & @wakeysg, @curiouspalette is a well-established cafe-restaurant located along the stretch of shophouses at Prinsep Street. Thanks to @entertainersg, we got these for the price of 1! 。 👉Cray Roll - SGD21.90 crayfish roll, ebiko, prawn mayonnaise, fried capers, fries 👉Prawn, Mentaiko Belacan Pasta - SGD21.90 charcoal grilled tiger prawns, tamarind glaze, sakura ebi 。 Unfortunately, the mains fell short of our expectations. As you can judge from the photo, the amount of clayfish given wasn’t substantial at all for the price. For the pasta, I have to admit the marriage of Mentaiko and Belacan was a pretty smart move, but the overall execution wasn’t satisfactory. I guess we were just unlucky that day🙃 。 Free islandwide delivery for orders above $50. Check out the link in their bio. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cosy Cafe tucked in Prinsep Street :) ! The cray roll ($21.90) melts so softly in your mouth after being freshly cooked 😛 drizzled in prawn mayonnaise gives off a nice end to every bite you take ! Pulled Pork, Hoison BBQ was an amazing choice although slightly salty but worth a try :) ! The pieces of pork just packs a bunch with the different garnishes on top with sourdough 😍 Food : 4/5 Ambience : 5/5 Location : 5/5 Pricing : $$ - $$$ Would i come again ? YES !
