The steak had a nice bite with the right amount of beef fat. It was tender and flavourful. I djdn’t have to pair it with any sauces because the flavour of the beef and seasoning were well balanced.

We also ordered potato and mushrooms to go with out meal. I believe the potatoes were fried in beef fat, coupled with the aromatic char, it was really yummy. The button and shiitake mushrooms were really juicy too.

For mock tails, we tried the Kyoho Sangria. It was a mix of lychee and chrysanthemum with non alcoholic red wine. It was a really refreshing palette cleanser.

Top: Steak Frites. 220g of grass fed char grilled australian ribeye steak at medium doneness, drizzled with black pepper sauce. The steak was thick and juicy and the sauce did not overpower the taste of the beef. The frjes were perfectly done and extremely addictive!

Bottom: Chilli Lime Seafood Aglio Olio. The dish was mildly spicy with a hint of garlic, the lim added a refreshing zing to it. There were plenty of clams but some weren’t that fresh and tasted quite foul.

The staff were super friendly and attentive!

A word play on karaage, dusted with curry spice. The karaage was not too oily, yet juicy. The spice made it addictive! Good to pair with a pint of beer, 8/10!

400g of angus short rib grilled, drizzled with mild spicy peanut sauce and sambal matah on the side. Smokey char grill flavour with soft and tender meat that fall right off the bone! 10/10!

This seemed like a fusion between claypot prawn tanghoon and italian pasta, resulting in pasta coated with crustacean oil and truffle scent served with tiger prawns in a claypot. A classic example of fusion done well! The pasta absorbed the flavour of the “zhup” and every bite sent me to heaven 🤤 13/10!!!!

From top left, in clockwise direction:

- Salt & vinegar fries: $9; black vinegar, thyme and garlic. I immediately caught a whiff of this aromatic dish when I sat down in the restaurant. The seasoning was really unique and I’ve never eaten anything like this before. Initially, I was afraid the vinegar will be overwhelming like Lay’s salt and vinegar chips but this was so well executed and in perfect balance. Def sth I will order again! 11/10
- Creamy mushroom: Can’t rmb price. But this was so good!!!!!! The cream was peppery, with slight hint of spice and we couldn’t get enough of it. 11/10
- Mac & cheese: $21; Only order this if you are an avid cheese lover. They probably used a whole assortment of cheese for this. Definitely has to be shared by a few people, this can get quite jelak after some time as it tasted quite one dimensional. 7/10
- BCM Tagliatelle: $25; Handmade pasta cooked with minced pork and pickled shitake with a few slices of liver. Interesting, texture was abit like thr korean jajangmyeon. But bcm should be a dish of its own and left out of fusion! 4/10

The sides were definitely the star of the show. My friends and I were really impressed by the quality and price of the food. Also, fantastic service!! The staff were so friendly and helpful, kept looking out for us to see if we needed anything. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back to try out the other food on the menu! Thank you so much for the good food and service! 🤩

I usually avoid cream based pastas because they tend to get jelak. But I decided to give it a try because I saw many reviews recommending it and it turned out really yummy! The pasta was cooked dente and the clams were really fresh. The seating area on the third floor is more cosy compared to their ground floor’s. 6/10

From top left, clockwise direction:

- Academics Breakfast: $28! The mushroom, eggs, bacon and bratwurst were really well done! Only worth it with burpple deal in my opinion. 5.5/10
- Lemon Ricotta Pancakes: $19.50! Was abit dry, paired it with whipped cream and berry compote and it was better. 4/10
- Truffle Portobello Mushroom Pizza: $26! Omg the crust was so thin…. Felt like taco shells. Perhaps thin crust fans will enjoy this. 6/10
- Prawn & Lemon Herbs Spaghetti: $23.50! Light lemon herb sauce with garlic, onion and chilli padi. Came with 5 fresh prawns. I really enjoyed this because it was flavourful and not greasy. 7.5/10!

Ordered four mains with iced latte, cappuccino and chocolate to share with my 4 girl friends and it was just nice :)

$15: generous serving, came with 3 mussels and 4 baby octopus. The risotto was a bit watery, but flavour was good! The rice grains were a bit hard, I’m guessing it’s due to inadequate cooking time. Added chilli powder for some oomph. Good to share with 2-3 pax along with other mains else it might get jelak if only one is consuming it. I saw the other mains while picking up my food and they looked really good, especially the pizzas! 5.5/10!

For $17.10, this is a very well executed donburi!! My bf and I love wagyu don and we frequent this place with the initials TR. But I don’t think we will be going back there any more because we have found a better place 🤩 The serving was generous, and the mixture of onsen egg and furikake made the rice so tasty we gobbled it up!! The truffle scent might be a little underwhelming, but it’s still acceptable! 9/10!

Every table had this so we had to get it as well and it didn’t disappoint!!! The pancakes were abit dry but the flavour was really good (yknow how some pancakes just taste like flour) The blueberry compote was sweet and tangy to the right extent so it really whets your appetite. Paired it with the warm maple butter and it was so good…. The serving is really huge! So I’ll recommend 2-3 girls to share it. Or even 4 girls if you guys ordered many other dishes to try. 10/10!!!

This was so good!!!! The fried chicken was so well seasoned and juicy. Paired it with their maple syrup (which wasn’t overly sweet and artificial) and this was chef’s kiss!!! 10/10
